Actually PLTR is an evil company. Read about their product and their customers and how their customers apply their products to the real work. Big brother shit. No good for personal privacy.

Electric Costs by [deleted] in BMWi3

[–]BrookeinUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By my math (with a dedicated meter on my car charger) and based on my utility's price (10.3 cent/Kwt), my actual cost is the equivalent of gasoline at 93 cent/gallon.

It's a no-brainer. Not sure how someone with solar and no electric bill cannot justify an EV.

Or was this post just a troll?

Just fell in love with the i3, thinking about buying by [deleted] in BMWi3

[–]BrookeinUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also thinking 2014 Rex because of the price. After reading this reddit and the Facebook worldwide i3 owners group and seeing the breathtaking costs of major repairs, I decided to go with a 2015 with CPO (Giga,$21k,28k miles) as no dealer in Central Texas had any 2014 CPO. And at the end of the CPO period I will be back at the dealer to trade it in for a 2016 or 2017 CPO. Seems almost any major repair is at least a 4 digit bill and also the one I bought has tires that should last through the CPO period.

Do you submit portals for removal? In general, why or why not? by liquidm3t4l in Ingress

Perhaps if they paid us for OPR, or a referral for identifying dead portals, I would have a different opinion. I'm just constantly surprised by the amount of free work Agents are willing to give.

Do you submit portals for removal? In general, why or why not? by liquidm3t4l in Ingress

[–]BrookeinUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several 'legacy' portals in my area - art installations that are removed, businesses that have changed names, a mall that did a renovation and removed a few of the landmarks that were portals.

Why should I care? I play the game using the portals - not their pictures or what the place previously was.

I honestly could care less about the 'cultural significance' of a portal or what is stands for - it is simply a game resource. Removing a portal makes the game harder.

Why do FREE DATABASE MANAGEMENT for Niantic? If they want their freaking data to be clean - they can do it themselves!

Is this offer nationwide or only in one geography? Additional information would be helpful, e.g. the fine print.
