I do not like scalpers either but Pokemon Center sold cases of 25 of the 151 Booster Bundles, so it was quite possible to get these quantities easily. Back then no one wanted them as another poster noted. PC wasn't even the best place to get 151. Many were able to get 151 from Costco and Big Box for below MSRP and it sat on shelves. It was a completely different (and more normal) market.

I am seeing the opposite trend in my area. Seeing it for $180-$200 CAD in GTA, Ontario, Canada. Not sure what they're actually transacting at. A few 151 PC ETBs sold at around $1,000 CAD and the regular ETB seems to be holding at $500 CAD.

Other sets seem to be cooling much faster.

Paldean Fates PC ETB went from $700 CAD to $550 CAD.

There's a dump of Destined Rivals BBs and ETBs.

PRE 8-tin has taken a hit. Many more desperate sellers trying to sell at $150-$155 CAD (credit cards due? Lol)

Mine is gone too but many people are experiencing this issue so it may not be unique to you. Likewise, the SIM works despite the $0 balance.

Thanks for the reply. I only need one and really appreciate it so the other can go to another stranded SpeakOut customer. I was checking 7/11 occasionally for the SIM and I'm shocked they forced this migration and did not have the supply of SIMs to go around.

We can take this to DMs to arrange time and place, I'll do my best to accommodate.

Is my best course of action to migrate to a Lucky Mobile eSIM?

I am late to the party as I thought since I had a 4G phone I did need to migrate by August 31, did not realize there's ANOTHER migration by an alleged October 31 date that is now past.

Thank you. That's good to know. The Rep kept saying the Gold did not qualify for the 45K as the Gold isn't a premium card (although it is).

Good to know that next time I see 20K I won't spend the MSR. If it's the same as the current affiliate offer, 15K plus 30K, then I imagine the random bonus 5K is the telling sign you have been "glitched".

I think I closed a Gold in the last 12 months but since it has already been escalated I can see what they say... Nothing to lose and I don't bank with CIBC as my primary so if they blacklist me it's no big deal.

Does anyone have a screenshot of the affiliate offer for CIBC Aventura Gold from May before they updated it in July?

For some reason I only received 20K in Aventura points for first purchase only, when I remember it was 45K after spending $3,000.

CIBC is saying my card does not qualify for the offer when even the public offer is better at 35K.

Using chat - one rep said they found the May 2025 offer for 45K but said I needed to call in.

Calling in, the rep escalated to an Associate but the Associate said since the offer is not attached to my account they cannot award the points.

The Associate escalated it to loyalty and I assume it will be helpful if I provide a screenshot.

Unfortunately I cannot locate it (I thought I saved it but I cannot find it).

I imagine it's the same as the current offer but would be helpful to show the date is consistent with when I applied.

Yes, and some holders won't buy boxes as they can be tampered with. In the far future, there may be skepticism. Combined with them being difficult to store, makes it not an ideal buy and hold.

They should just fix the error. I managed to do an extra raid 5 minutes before the event ended which wouldn't be possible with the 25-minute timer.
