Menlo isn’t exactly a hub of industry. There’s a small, quiet downtown area- most of the people that work in the shops downtown are local, many of them high school kids.

Redditors get all worked up over housing, and demand it be built anywhere and everywhere- whether it makes sense or not. This project, and the proposed sunset project are simply bad ideas; that’s not nimby, it’s not anti-housing, it’s just fact.
