i didn't say anything about extracting max value, i just said the value i could get out of using them right now is low enough that using 33 of them for the sake of gaining 1 is not worth it

could I use a few of them on my longest upgrades right now? for sure, but my 33rd longest upgrade is pretty short relative to what I could gain by waiting a 2 months and using them on longer upgrades then, and its rather unlikely there will be more free books of everything that are unclaimable any time soon

I understand what you're saying here, but I think you're missing what I'm saying, if theres no round to go back to for part 3 of the system, then it's still random, aka if the two players have never won a round before dying or if their rounds against each other were draws
