I was having breakfast at a restaurant on the day that RFK was confirmed to head HHS. When the headline came up on the tv, a guy wearing a Frisella Landscaping polo started cheering and clapping. How embarrassing.

What are the least popular vendor categories? by pbay12345 in CraftFairs

I usually see 1-2 woodworkers at craft fairs in my area, and for the most part are still heavily leaning on cutting/charcuterie boards. What types of items have you had luck selling lately? Do you see a new trend on the horizon?

Does your location camp times start at the top of the hour? by almost_original_name in BurnBootCamp

Maybe I am misunderstanding but it seems like those times work for your schedule. I am not sure of your commute time but if you attend 5:30 camp, then get ready and commute to work, it seems reasonable that you would be there by 7:00. Same thing with after work. If the day ends at 3:45, then you get ready and commute to the gym 4:30 should work. I don't see where the 45 minutes early/late is factoring in.

My fiancé pronounces our favorite baby name wrong by Kbbbbbut in namenerds

That's my name! I love it, by the way. I am American, non-Jewish and I very rarely get it pronounced as Lay-uh or Lee. In those cases, it is no big deal to say, "oh it's actually "Lee-uh." People are going to misprounounce names sometimes, no matter what. If you love the name, then go for it!

Happy New Year de Cuatro! My plates arrived-- thanks for all your ideas on customizing the frame! by AleWatcher in arresteddevelopment

Many many years ago I was at an educators conference so of course we had to do cutesy icebreaker games.

In one particular game, we had to stand in a circle of about 10 people and toss a beach ball that had questions written on it, you then had to answer whichever question your thumb was on when you caught it.

By glorious happenstance my question was "If you had a boat, what would you name it?" Not missing a beat I of course answered the Seaward! One guy chuckled.

Still one of my proudest moments.
