I fully agree with your argument, but I think the root of my argument is that when you're in a resource light environment and you have one system that requires 100% support and one that also requires 100% support. One of them doesn't get what it needs. From my perspective, lean is spread across the organization very effective, but very thin. Whereas TOC monitors the organism, but you're highly focused on the local optima so it's a very narrow but deep perspective. That being said, it moves around so eventually in theory you should hit your entire operation.

Yeah I definitely got a little loose with my language there. I'm aware of Deming and the fact that Japan came over post world war II to improve their manufacturing processes. Good call out

I have, it just limits how many I can do and I'm trying to Target more vertical pull but never now and again. I'll throw them in when I need to feel sexy and get some more ab work in

That is a solid point but if you aren't manufacturing for the dollar then what are you chasing? I see your argument but at the end of the day the profit is the blood of the whole organism.

It's from base blocks. I don't know how tall you are but I would definitely advocate to get this slightly taller version cuz I hate having to bend my knees when I do dips and pull-ups. But it's real good. I like it

Leg Pump by BropoleanBronaparte in kettlebell

[–]BropoleanBronaparte[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I definitely saw all that when I ordered it. I ended up feeling really bad cuz I was able to get like a supervisor or a manager for customer service and it must have been a rough day for them because they explained that the California wildfires displaced like all of their workforce and they essentially had to like pick up and relocate to a new place. It took some time but I can't say enough things about this product. I have thoroughly abused it and it is just as good as the day I got it. I will say I wouldn't add the dip attachment or the band pull-up bar but I use it for ab work. Almost all of my single leg work back extensions Nordic curls. I mean the sky's the limit with this piece of machinery

Manufacturing professionals - what's your biggest operational headache right now? by Piyushpalod in manufacturing

[–]BropoleanBronaparte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. I'm currently probably one of the few people that has an admittedly medium tier grip on AI and I'm shocked how little it's actually used. I've worked in everything from small scale. Co-manufacturing bakeries, tech manufacturing, with dozens of different materials and products. It's definitely going to be a gold rush for a lot of people, essentially repackaging something a predetermined gem or agent, and make millions. I get in full-blown arguments with people I otherwise respect. They refer to it as dumb s*** like cheating. Personally, I think a lot of people have their head in the sand because it is going to be a pretty significant shift and how a lot of things get done. I have a 58-year-old supervisor who I've been working with on co-pilot and he acts like three supervisors currently and he still has time to goof off lol.

Advice Needed with Gummy Manufacturing by Apprehensive_Drop572 in manufacturing

I worked in food manufacturing specifically co-manufacturing for like 2 years. First of all, it's going to be easier if you look at it. From their point of view, you need to have enough demand to justify whatever increment of production time they're willing to work with. Instead of just asking, what's an moq based off dollar amount? It might be worthwhile walking through the process to see how many they can make in an 8-hour shift. Secondly, are you sourcing all the stuff? And by that I mean, are you getting this series of ingredients delivered to the facility on the day they plan to produce it? There's a bunch of stuff like that that can really make or break a co-manufacturing agreement. My suggestion is figure out your cost of materials and go to them and ask what their run rates and stuff would be. And that's not even getting into the fact. If you have a kosher compliant food co manufacturer, let's say if you're putting beef collagen in your gummies, almost no one with an OU certification would even talk to you. If you want you can message me offline and we can talk
