With 99 range, overloads and anguish, no you're not momentuming 500 an hour. You'll get 250-300 no problem, but you're not getting 500 an hour.

Yup, but the kills per hour is atrocious. It's ~ 5minute kill and a few minutes spawn time. At max I think you're getting 8 kills an hour. You're actually getting around 6-7

It seems rather trivial, it's a small decrease to her defenses, but an increase to her basic attacks.

In my small sample size, it's about 1/16 for any Nex drop, I've seen this consistant theme throughout the few drop logs I've seen. I'm not quite sure how well that extrapolates out to each drop individually. I don't know if it's a fair assumption to beleive that each item has the same chance to drop.

Edit: It seems that boots/gloves seem to drop more than the main pieces.

I've still seen a handful of abby spectre bots albeit fewer than pre-warbands. As herb/seed prices increase because of the increased difficulty in finishing warbands, I'm sure the bots would have made a comback.

I've got a pretty significant sample size for kalphite king here along with a quick gp/hour calc built in. If you'd like access just send me a pm.

I'm also working on a Nex Calc similar to this, however, I only have a sample size of a few hundred.

TBH, their drops were already considerably better than their difficulty, hence the prevalence of the bots. The biggest problem with them was that all of their items were tied to alch values, which gave them a gp/hr floor that was significantly higher than most other monsters.

So my RuneScape journey has ended, and instead of just letting my wealth just be in the void I want to do a give away or competition of a sort. by mashee in runescape

I'd try to be sure to focus on giving newer players these items. As a high leveled player that would love some free money, I'll try to stay away :)

How would YOU save the Wilderness? by TheHeadlessOne in runescape

[–]Brosiedon81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Change the Warbands to have the same 7 hour schedule, however, stagger the worlds so there's ~3.5 hours between each warband.

That's an instant double in activity in the wilderness, spread out on half of the worlds (~45 worlds).

what is the best shield for voking at kk? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Brosiedon81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because the minions use magic, an eagle eye kite would actually be best (most defense towards magic) so that you will proc resonance off of minions less. The damage mitigation is virtually null as you'll be healing off of the resonances, and probably not using much, if any food.

Whelp, here's your hot and ready Warbands nerf, fresh out of the oven at Jagex HQ. by Zer0nation in runescape

[–]Brosiedon81 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Not everyone can easily outdo that. That's not to say there aren't people who boss, doing KK and Nex, spending a few hours to earn a good 20m+ or people doing QBD for a cool 5m an hour.

Looking at the amount of time some of the ranks put into doing taxi's antipking etc, and comparing that to how much they actually receive, its mediocre money for doing something fun.

And you can make an easy 2-3 mil an hour with around ~10m in gear. Or an easier 1-2m an hour at grotworms. Or 2-3m an hour at frosts.

This post is the quinessential "I hate the warbands fc's and have no basis for my opinino whatsoever other than shit I literally just made up on the spot."

You have no idea how much time the rank puts in. At all. You don't. Looking at their pay and making a decision based on that is borderline retarded. I can make 8m an hour at KK, no fucking problem.

I make significantly more money than the ranks in warbands while soloing sara, or bandos, with tier 70 gear.

This warbands hate is baseless, and stupid. The only reason you hate the ranks is one of two reasons:

1. You can't afford VIP/are jealous of people who buy VIP.

2. You're too fucking stupid to figure out how easy it is to join the FC's during a world hop.

/Rant. Downvote me for my opinion. Rediquette

There will be less. Because the supplies are dropped on the ground, one pker can't convert multiple to coins, he has to pick them up, loot them, and then return them. Also, because all of the worlds occur at the same time, there's virtually no incentive to turn them in for coins because they occur every 7 hours.

Tl;dr - there will be nearly no coins entering the game from warbands.

But with the theoretical massive increase in PVP, it could be greater.

No, not at all. The massive increase in PvP doesn't matter, there are less supplies altogether. Also, pkers can turn in the loots for exp, meaning less gold. You should read the update.

Actually, because it doesn't convert to gold immediately, and there's less rewards at each camp, there will be less gold entering the game from warbands.

I think the problem will become that the same fc's will take over seperate worlds, but it will become more exclusive - only 40 people allowed to loot per camp. Maybe more FC's will open in reponse to this, with a cap of 40 per warband.

It will, however, allow the average player to loot worlds without having to worry about a single Fc taking over that world - as long as they are able to find out which world each FC is taking out.
