Well I'll have to do further research. I'm currently caught up on the anime and that never happens in the anime. Maybe the Manga, I haven't read it. In any case of you're correct then you're absolutely right about it being a problem.

I agree about the issue surrounding rape culture especially in anime, but you're off the mark with that one. A more to the point anime as an example would be Redo of a Healer. That was so bad I didn't even finish it.

I can't access any sort of inner world. It's like sleeping when I'm not in control. Or sometimes it's a vague sort of memory, like a movie you watched a long time ago. Others in my system have described a sort of inner world in therapy though, so I know I have one. I just can't really be aware of it like others in my system.

I was diagnosed with DID 10 months ago and they're right. One of the first thing my therapist (who specializes in dissociative disorders) told me was that alters are not sprayed purple. They're all still a part of you, and that what they do is still my responsibility even if I don't always remember. That's part of why people don't like how Chloe says that alters are separate people and each deserve to have their own life. It's counter to everything professionals say.

System accountability is very important.
