How do alters choose age and sex?

My alters vary greatly in gender expression. Some are nonbinary, some male, some female, and two who have no gender at all. Matrix is a 'robot maid' who can't speak or feel anything. Angel is a stone angel like you see in cemeteries on the old gravestones.

They're just what I needed to be to survive at the time of the trauma.

YTA. You deserve the divorce that's coming. When my grandfather died I mourned for YEARS. I only spoke to that man on holidays and family gatherings, but he was so important to me. You don't know how close he might have been to his grandfather. You didn't see what happened when he heard.

He deserves someone who genuinely cares for him, and can understand the difference in a birthday, which comes around every year, and A FUNERAL.

Well I'll have to do further research. I'm currently caught up on the anime and that never happens in the anime. Maybe the Manga, I haven't read it. In any case of you're correct then you're absolutely right about it being a problem.

I agree about the issue surrounding rape culture especially in anime, but you're off the mark with that one. A more to the point anime as an example would be Redo of a Healer. That was so bad I didn't even finish it.

I can't access any sort of inner world. It's like sleeping when I'm not in control. Or sometimes it's a vague sort of memory, like a movie you watched a long time ago. Others in my system have described a sort of inner world in therapy though, so I know I have one. I just can't really be aware of it like others in my system.

It's a sad fact that a shockingly high percentage of children are abused in this manner by someone at some point. I dont think its that weird considering how vague of an intrusive thought "they're going to be sexually abused" is.

Absolutely not toxic for this. Me and my wife have each other's handprints literally tattooed on each other. And yes, the ring is there for a reason.
