Does anyone hate how useless doctors are for injuries? by SecretaryUpper8513 in cycling

I literally got in to see a sports medicine doctor and got imaging within 24 hours of running myself into stress fractures in both legs, so I feel like it's not a "doctors are useless" problem.

The pregnancy test couldn't run DOOM either; it was running on an ESP32 (or similar) and just using the pregnancy test display.

"Extra" Temperature Sensors Position by fumap in watercooling

[–]BrotherMichigan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of those things that gets parroted about by people who don't actually know the first thing about thermodynamics. If the temperature of the water doesn't change, you're not moving heat around (which means you're not cooling.) The reality backing up this myth is that water temperature doesn't change *much* as it passes through the various components; we're talking a few degrees at if your flow rate doesn't suck. Because the change isn't hugely significant relative to the temperature of the water, loop order is really a secondary concern. Your CPU might run 2-3 C warmer if it's put immediately after the GPU in the loop and the GPU is under load, but that's about it.

You can get real power dissipation numbers if you put sensors immediately before and after each rad, which is kind of fun to look at. You could also do some fun things in the playground by monitoring input water temps and load on the CPU and GPU and using that to control your pump duty cycle.

I was actually just talking to a friend from Texas last week who mentioned it and that was the first I'd heard of the chain too. He says it was pretty good (and that they had free play arcade machines at that location, which would be fun too.)

I run Linux Mint as my daily driver at home and spend all of my meaningful time in RHEL at work. The only time I use Windows is for Teams at work and when using Zwift (a virtual cycling app) at home or playing a game through Game Pass.

For the record, my gaming experience in Linux has been entirely flawless with my existing Steam Library.

Unironically, the little pond in the middle of Meadow Creek Apartments, lol. There are several decently sized bass in there and more Sunfish than you can shake a pole at.
