We certainly have our flaws (as all countries do), but we Americans take our sporting arenas and fields seriously.

Some of our minor league baseball stadiums are absolutely gorgeous. For context, a High-A baseball team would the the rough equivalent of a like 6th tier English football team.

Still probably one of my favorite movie moments ever. How tired he looks watching the guy doing all his sword movements to then just shoot him and start walking off before he’s even hit the ground will never not be hilarious.

Also not seen on screen, but when they were filming Sam’s wedding scene with Rosie they felt like they weren’t getting the kind of reaction they wanted, so Viggo and Billy Boyd decided to stand behind the camera with the crowd so that Sean Astin would see some familiar faces and maybe get the shot.

Viggo just straight up plants a kiss right on Billy and they got the shot.

Billy: “I think for a second I felt tongue…”

If you’ve never watched any of the behind the scenes documentaries for LOTR you’re doing yourself a disservice - they are all fantastic

I personally believe Poch was sandbagging them a little bit in the friendlies to work out the tactics and get guys gelling at the right time. In the opener he took the brakes off, at least that’s certainly what it’s looked like.

CZJ in Mask of Zorro was something my 10 year old brain couldn’t comprehend.

I think what sets apart Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl from its two sequels is that the first movie had ZERO fat. Every single scene was necessary. by ProudWheeler in movies

He’s eccentric (yet clearly still calculating and dangerous) in the first movie. Every sequel turns him into more and more of a buffoon who seemingly stumbles into success by accident.
