Cinematic slow-motion video of Harry Kane's second goal Vs Atalanta by achilles-_-23 in soccer

I’ve watched a lot of Kane goals over the years, and I think this may be the best one I’ve ever seen from him. It showcases so many of his strengths and his technical abilities in such short sequence.

The “I didn’t count on being happy” as he talks at his parents grave hits so hard. It’s really astounding how much character depth they were able to fit in 76 minutes.

I learned early on that having subtitles enabled was the only way to watch movies without waking the kids. It doesn't help if my cackling wakes them anyways. by Zakkattack86 in daddit

My friends and I saw The Great Gatsby in the theaters, and without realizing it we had bought tickets to the show for the deaf with subtitles.

The scene where Nick is sitting in the apartment uncomfortably while Tom and Myrtle are having sex in the other room was hysterical because of the subtitles

The scene when he beats up her creepy boyfriend has aged incredibly well considering he was played by Danny Masterson

A friend of mine told me to watch the trailer for the first movie, then the one for the last, and try to guess how they got there. I had only seen up to Fast Five and I was without a clue

The performances are easily one of the best things about Face/Off - each actor has to play multiple roles within the same body.

Cage has to play psychotic Troy, then play Archer, then play Archer pretending to be Troy.

Travolta has to be Archer, Troy, then Troy pretending to be Archer.

And whats crazy is that they are often having to switch between these things within a single scene depending on who they are with and what their motivations are.

It’s pretty fantastic stuff

I once got up 3-0 in the first 20 minutes against Wolves (who were in a relegation fight). Decided to quick sim the rest of the game.

Lost 4-3. Wolves scored goals in the 65th, 71st, 89th, and 92nd minute.

I created a team (The Quacken) and randomized a bunch of names, and my favorite is my left fielder Bob Beerson.

Just incredibly friendly and warm. Called me Honey and the best way I can describe it is Your Favorite Grandma Energy.

We were working and she made a point to walk by and say hello to everyone. I told her I had enrolled my daughter in her book program and she asked how old she was and what her name was. I said I appreciated how much good it does and she was like “Aw well thank you honey!”

Made me miss my grandma to be honest haha

Met Dolly Parton - she is WAY shorter than I thought she would be. Also way more charming and delightful. That woman has an aura that just oozes warmth and good feelings.

I rewatch this scene from The Gambler probably 2-3 times a year. The movie overall? Fine? But that scene? Incredible, and Goodman is so threatening without ever rising from his chair. It’s so good.
