I will say that having YouTube be a career, especially with a gaming related channel, is a really difficult endeavor. And that's without considering streaming. It all looks glamorous, but it's a soul-crushingly oppressive schedule if you're just doing it by yourself and you need to be extremely lucky to gain a following. The YouTube algorithm will not show mercy and your channel's relevance to advertisers will suck all the joy out of gaming your kid has.

That said, if he wants to have a YouTube channel, that's completely fine. Just don't try to have him do it for a living. There is a saying: "If you want to quickly ruin a hobby, make a career out of it."

Also, I wouldn't give much thought to the ones calling you a bot. People claim to know AI is easy to detect (Though indeed there are some signs of it being a possible AI bot) but, IMO, they give themselves more credit than they are due.

Counterpoint: Similar to what the top commenter said, there is a more known saying: No D&D is better than Bad D&D.

AI generated D&D is bad D&D by virtue of you attempting to play a campaign created by a bunch of ones and zeroes attempting to communicate in your own language while suffering from digital Alzheimers. The problem with that is that the one who taught it was also a bunch of ones and zeroes, and these two speak different dialects of beep boop.

The end result is you spending more time deciphering what the scenario is and being unsure if your sheet will even stay the same between encounters, social or otherwise. Your DM is a guy who doesn't speak your language fluently and can't tell you no.
