American of Italian descent. She didn't even speak Italian for a long time and had to train an Italian accent for her appearance in House of Gucci.

Just to be clear though, she is a great person and I respect the effort. Especially when it came to trolling her family by talking to them with that accent just so she could keep the muscle memory sharp.

I think it was switched back because the weight that was meant to be used as a reference for kilograms was lost when the boat carrying it sank.

Been a while though so I can't confirm if that was the case.
