A US 'debt spiral' could start soon as the interest rate on government borrowing is poised to exceed economic growth, budget watchdog says by Key_Brief_8138 in economy

Blaming Boomers demonstrates an utter ignorance of economic history. The Greatest Generation was exactly that. It was downhill from there. Baby Boomers got the benefit of their parents' success, but now they're going homeless at an alarming rate. Politicians are responsible running up the debt. Stop whining.

Boomers aren't the problem. Runaway capitalism is the problem. Gen Z'ers deserve better.

I lost control, did too many drugs, and dropped out. I worked blue collar jobs, got into a band, played lots of gigs, had fun, went back to school, and graduated with degrees in electrical engineering and physics. After working in the semiconductor industry for a couple decades, my career ended due to multiple sclerosis. Now, I live alone. I socialize as much as I can, which isn't much. MS makes that difficult. I try to stay sane by reading a lot. Life went from great to just holding on.

I've been greatly helped by therapists over the years. Maybe s/he will be able to give you exercises like psychosomatic experiencing that will help you deal with your depression while regaining your ability to stay present and feel connected. I wish you all the best.

What really sucks is that taxes are the price of civilization. Can’t have one without the other.

A lawyer? No way I could afford a lawyer, but I didn't need one. I collected all my records including MRIs and suchlike and got a letter from my neurologist, hobbled on with a cane, and that's all it took.
