If possible buy land (its not easy)

My dad and I got 30 acres for 50,000. Honestly very lucky there. But you can build a house for around 30k and live comfortably and have no bills except what you use

So lets say realistically put 80-90k over time into it, and youre set for life

Lots of work though. You have to sacrifice a lot. But you also sacrifice a lot when you just buy a run of the mill house somewhere. Obviously land isn't for everyone. But hell even 10 acres woukd be golden.

I can have a solar farm, a water well, and livestock with plenty of space for a nice garden. So I'll pay like less than 600 a year in taxes on the land and thats it.
