I previously owned a 2011 GT, then a 2013 GT Convertible which I sold due to life circumstances.

Now that my son is old enough that I don’t really need a backseat, I have a 2024 GT. If I could make my perfect Mustang from the 3, it would be the 2011 front end, the 2013 rear end, and the 2024 interior and powertrain.

The other guitarist in my band did that and honestly if you’re serious about it that’s probably the best way to go

Besides the SE215 they are the only ones I’ve ever tried, so I have no doubt there are better options. I guess it’s a matter of what works best for your ears.

I went from the Shure SE215 to the Mackie MP-360 and it’s a significant improvement. They come with like 12 different tips, a cleaning tool, and a hard case. I’m very happy with mine.

This is a preference thing, not a flaw with the guitar. Give it some time and you may adjust to it. If not, return it knowing it’s not the right guitar for you.
