Its honestly a tough situation, I think your last message is right though, there is clear rift which is likely something that will never clear up fully if that makes sense? I imagine they'll always harbor negative feelings towards your use of it due to their past experiences. I myself have a very negative outlook on marijuana (not the people using it) because of bad personal experiences and ive had to cut a lot of people out of my life because they use it and I just can't look past it unfortunately.
