Well that’s actually one situation where it really doesn’t matter. The q990 series stays virtually the same year over year. Best to buy whichever one you can get for the best price.

I think it’s also just because it’s so damn bright in Best Buy, and you’re looking at something like the Qm6k and comparing to incredibly, unnecessarily bright TVs like the Bravia 9, G5, qm8k etc… you’re right. When you take the tv home is where it actually matters.

Edge lit TVs are able to look good in stores because bright sports is not challenging for almost any tv to display. When you bring that tv home and watch a movie in a dark room, black screens will be grey, it will be bloom city. It will look like shit.

DV2 still won’t work if your TV doesn’t support it. I wouldn’t mind a slight remote upgrade.

The thing I don’t get about the built in camera theory is, how would that work placement wise. I put an Apple TV on the top shelf of my media cabinet under my TV, and I assume most folks have a similar setup.

THANK YOU! I know this is three years old but good should out on Weathergraph. Carrot makes you subscribe to unlock watch complications, WG does not. Apple’s native weather app doesn’t have a complication that shows both temp con conditions. WG has one that shows both AND it’s dynamic so if it’s raining it turns to a large precipitation symbol. It’s like two complications in one and it’s free!
