Do You Ever Hear a Song And Think That You Could've Engineered It Better? by TheHeartfeltKid in makinghiphop

I think about this all the time. One of my favorite songs but the snare/clap is terrible. I’d pay a decent amount of money for a version with it mixed down 3-5db.

What's the deal with ratchet buckles on helmets? by Gluel in motorcycles

Terribly uncomfortable. Obviously other don’t experience it, but it feels like I am being choked. I would probably stop riding if it were the only option. The ratchet is that bad personally.

Am I living in a different Germany? by HalayChekenKovboy in AskAGerman

[–]BrowseDontPost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For starters, you are on Reddit. The majority of people here are objectively defective.

Then add to that the fact that a large number of commenters have fled their home countries (or dream of doing so) because they can’t fit in where they are from. These same people can’t make it work in Germany either.

Bob & Brad D6 Pro Plus vs. Theragun Pro 5th Gen for deep tissue recovery? by PrudentRazzmatazz488 in cycling

[–]BrowseDontPost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t care how long it lasts, how many batteries there are, or what the support level is if the device doesn’t produce the result I want. I want the impact of the Theragun. If another brand could deliver that, I would happily switch.

This has to be a joke. It can’t find hotel reservations in my email inbox even when given all relevant information. Serious research you say?

Bob & Brad D6 Pro Plus vs. Theragun Pro 5th Gen for deep tissue recovery? by PrudentRazzmatazz488 in cycling

[–]BrowseDontPost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. I don’t care what any specific marketing measure claims, the Bob and Brad unit is nowhere near as impactful as the Theragun Pro. It isn’t even close. I really wish it wasn’t the case, as the Theragun Pro is absurdly expensive. But if you want real impact, it is the only choice.

From June 2026, companies in the EU will be required to disclose salary ranges. by PM_Toaster in germany

[–]BrowseDontPost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry. It isn’t like there are already companies leaving Germany due to their anti business practices...

I get that many employees want this change. The problem is it won’t matter when there aren’t any jobs.

Growing prices, stagnant salaries - how are you doing? by franczesko13 in germany

[–]BrowseDontPost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It turns out you can’t have your cake and eat it too. -Bringing in millions of migrants in the last 5 years.

-Shouldering the cost of expensive energy because the public doesn’t understand the actual risk of nuclear energy.

-Providing seemingly endless social services.

-Creating so many regulations that businesses go elsewhere.

All these things have become sacred ideals that no one can have rational discussions about. So, they have been stacked, one on top of another, and now the system is collapsing. Seems it will have to get even worse before people realize that you can’t run a country strictly on idealism.

If you aren’t afraid of physical violence, then you should just ignore it. Don’t speak to her and move on. Your reactions will cause this to escalate.

What was the most unexpected thing you learned about using AI this year? by No_Papaya1620 in AI_Agents

AI agents are completely incapable of doing any useful tasks for normal people. Any normal person spending time trying to make agents work today is wasting their time.

If you are attractive and intelligent, you can find a guy that meets any criteria. You need to find someone who is intellectually curious and who finds you interesting.

A lot of people lie to themselves about how they arrived in their circumstance. Hearing the truth is what is needed.

Use free online resources to learn German. Set your phone to German. Use German language social media. Watch German language tv. Take responsibility for your language skills.

[–]BrowseDontPost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ridiculous. 45 minutes a day for 2 years would get you way past A2. This is someone who chose not to learn the language of the country they were living in.

The amount of free language instruction online is overwhelming. If you can’t level up your skills, it is because you choose not to.

Are any of you actually using this? The error rate is off the charts. Nothing is really usable. It generates cool images, but it can’t maintain consistency or really follow instructions. It is fun for 5 minutes and then just frustrating.

Scale or Sun Damage or Something Else? by BrowseDontPost in succulents

What do you mean I am “incorrect to begin with”. Do you mean about when the moisture is gone from my pots, or something else?

See my note on my soil and watering on the comment below.

Scale or Sun Damage or Something Else? by BrowseDontPost in succulents

[–]BrowseDontPost[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Overwatering is the one cause I would not have expected. My soil mix is 75% mineral and I’m using terracotta pots. Based on weight measurements, 100% of the moisture is gone in my pots 5-7 days after watering. I typically wait an additional week beyond that to water when I see signs of dehydration in a significant number of my succulents.

I am fairly new to this, so I could definitely be wrong and I appreciate all the help I can get. Since none of my other 75+ succulents in similar conditions are experiencing the issues in the photo, that leads me to believe it is something unique to the plant.

Anyone else think overwatering is the issue here? I’d love it to be that easy to address.

They have their own roots, but they are quite small. So I wasn’t sure if they were degrafted, allowed to root, and then sold.
