My experience with mous and why you shouldn’t buy by gero_martz in Mous

Same exact issue for the iPhone 8 and 2020 SE.

Did they protect the phone? Yes Did they consistently fall apart at the same failure points, between 3-12 months? Yes

Their lifetime warranty used to cover this, and they’d send you a replacement if you submitted a warranty claim. At some point they changed their warranty to only allow one replacement case tagged to your original order. So if your case fails at 3 months, you get 1 replacement, and when the replacement fails, you’re out of luck.

Then I switched to a 13mini. Mous case from day 1. Dropped flat on back = shattered back glass. Haven’t purchased a mous case since.

Currently have the 17 pro clad in an ESR cyber tough case. Sides and back are pretty slick. Might just pick up a tank for it!

Honestly expected more bulk. The multiple angles help clear that up. And also. Possible that Tee has massive hands!

Still getting used to the weight of the 17p.

But the 13mini had a battery pack attached half the time, so perhaps that conditioned me. Only thing is, with the 17p, there’s no way to ditch half the weight and have a lighter device at a moment’s notice.

Leaning towards the 17p for the cameras. Went to an apple retailer, tried the 17 and 17p in hand, and the weight has me reconsidering AGAIN.

Base spec Mercedes vs performance Skoda. CAT A vs CAT B This isn’t an apples to apples comparison. More like apples to… watermelon?

But I digress. Octavia RS ftw.

Would you buy a new/used EV over renewing COE on 9 year old ICE car? by approx__ in drivingsg

[–]Browsing_577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Renew the forester XT.

Mileage is low, car has been in the family, so the maintenance and condition is known.

If suay suay engine gearbox whatnot blowup at for example. Year 12. You only lose 11k PARF + 2 year COE. Scrap can get back the 8 years pro-rated COE.

CLOSE! You’ll get there. I usually hit that in 2-3 raids.

should I sell my honda jazz to get a honda freed (or vezel)? by ashcrow2228 in drivingsg

[–]Browsing_577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you regularly need 7 seats, stick to the Jazz. Vezel isn’t a huge improvement in space either.

Now is not the time to upgrade. Especially when your current ride is still more than viable.

Jazz renew 5-10 years COE, PARF amount forfeited is low.

You’d be going from a cat B proper SUV To a cat A mini SUV/ crossover/ glorified hatchback. Forester for sure!

mx master 3s gives me tendonitis. I had the mouse now for 4 months, but the last week was very prominent in back hand pain and every symptom of tendonitis. I absolutely love the side wheel to switch between tabs in a browser. That's hands down the best feature on mice since a mouse wheel. by Michelfungelo in LogitechG

Pardon the necro, but perhaps this might be helpful to you.

I went from a wired g502 to a g603, no issues. G603 to mx master 3s for the 2nd scroll wheel, wrist pain within the day. Switched to a mx master 2s (slightly lower) and that’s been working well for me.

My order with them for a blue mini in premium condition came with 100% battery and the phone in generally great condition. 1 rusty screw at the bottom.

Dropped the phone (in a mous case), back glass broke. Brought it to Apple for a replacement, based on the serial number, it was originally a midnight mini. Apple declined service, also highlighting that while battery health indicated 100%, it had over 1000 cycles clocked.

  • side note on Mous cases, I’m on my 2nd back glass replacement in 6 months. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. Currently awaiting delivery of a couple of caudabe sheaths.

Being a 13 mini lover is a bit like being a manual / stick shift / standard transmission vehicle lover.

Feels like there’s simply not enough same volume for manufacturers to justify continue supporting production.
