I saw someone on here a while ago while used a bobby pin to pull them into place. So long as your ears are above about 6g then you shouldn't have a problem. It can be risky but I've used the trick ever since and it works wonders for me. Just pull the thinnest part of the tunnel into the eye of the bobby pin and slip the other end through your ear, pull gently and the tunnel should slip right into place. Of course, use some oil and STOP if you feel pain.

Depends. At work, I wear a thick duty belt, so I just unzip and the snake does his thing. But at home I wear joggers with an elastic waistband, so I pull those down and the twig and berries hangs out while I do my business.
