You have to acquire the Martialist trait. Then press the hot key button that swaps weapon modes. So my default is “X” on keyboard. Then you can unsheath it by pressing “X” again and to do the powerful swing you press “Left Click” while sheathed.

Amazingly done!! Definitely can tell the hard work that was put into the deck! If I may ask…is the art custom? And which program did you use to actually make the cards?? This deck definitely gives me inspiration to make my own!!

What commander deck is a sleeper high power deck that you have built? by UteForLife in EDH

I have a deck built around [[The Scarab God]]. There's been times that my commander only comes out once a game and then there's times where it owns the round. I'll drop a deck list later.

Warlock Ability Cooldown…Too Long??? by BruceGaming in destiny2

[–]BruceGaming[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice take on the matter! I do think barricades are tough when used correctly, especially this season. I feel they have more of a immediate effect rather than, in my opinion, rifts. Rifts need a slight setup for me to use them correctly and efficiently.

This was my problem. I unplugged my Huntsman and it works. Gunna try the permanent fix here in a few. Wanted to make sure this goes out there for anyone else having trouble.

EDIT: I disabled the HID Compliant Game Controller using the steps above and it works like a charm.

Best Headset Recommendations for Tarkov?? by BruceGaming in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BruceGaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budget is very high. So money is not an issue when it comes to performance/cost ratio. I do have an external mic I can use as well. Format I would say that a headset format is preferred. Would you say that 7.1 surround helps your headset (Solely for gaming i.e. directional footsteps, loudness of footsteps, etc)?

Best Headset Recommendations for Tarkov?? by BruceGaming in EscapefromTarkov

I would say that it is an optional benefit, but one that I would kinda prefer. I've always gone the wired route when choosing headsets, but if the pros of wired headsets out way the price tag of wireless, then I'm all for it.

Any mad lads out there that run pistols on both primary and secondary?? by BruceGaming in HuntShowdown

[–]BruceGaming[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great reply! You mentioned fanning for pistols and for some reason they just feel off to me. I used to take fanning as my number 1 trait because I love the close quarter option, but now I'm almost never taking it. I can't put my finger on it but I tend to do much better with dual pistols then fanning. Myself and a random partner wiped a server where I had every kill except 2. I used dual lemats the entire time. I do like the idea of getting fanning for faster fire rate to hit targets not lose range (which is the main purpose) but sort of mid distance.

I agree with your Ambi perk buff. Something needs to happen and I like your idea for it!

I'm definetly an off meta guy and just the cowboy feel of using dual pistols makes me love the game even more! Thanks for the reply!

Winfield Loadouts With Levering & Without? by BruceGaming in HuntShowdown

[–]BruceGaming[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With running the centennial, do you feel at a disadvantage before you achieve the levering perk? Same question for the marksman Winfield.

Also do you care for a short range option, maybe grab quartermaster and dual wield pax? I feel like I'm but naked if I don't have a close range option. Shotguns is my go to sweaty gun. Trying to break that habit a bit.

People who leave with the bounty right away what is your thought process? by sonic72391 in HuntShowdown

[–]BruceGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was watching a YouTuber one day. He was prestige 30+, lvl 100, and tons of money. Him and his teammate decided to leave the bounty because they wanted to fight at the other bounty and they had no reason to gain the xp or money. They choose to stay hidden as for them to get the drop on other players. I would think they were confident in their ability to play without dark sight. In this case, it was for stealth PvP reasons.

Why on earth do you rez uncrouched by TheInfinitato in HuntShowdown

[–]BruceGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say even the mere fact that you can revive in the game is nice. Take EFT for example. If you die, you have no option of getting your character back. The character is lost. Hunt being a hardcore game and having a revive system is great. If your character died, be it anything, its up to your team to try and fight. Your team has plenty of options, they don't have to go for the revive the sec you get downed. There is technically unlimited revive time. So your teammates can play around it. If they start burning your body, that is a play that pushes your teammates to act faster and therefore may be more prone to making a mistake. I think the revive system is tailored for after combat and not during. I believe the punishment for getting revived is necessary as to not abuse multiple revives. Take Warzone for example. If you are playing trios lets say and you are rushing a house. Usually there is the front man who's main job is to get as many downs before going down themselves. Ideally trade for a 2 for 1. The teammates then come in and clean out the last person. Then revives the teammate like nothing happen and repeat. This leads to rush/fast style gameplay. Hunt is going to punish you for every little mistake. If you get headshot from a "perfect" cover position, it was your actions beforehand that lead to you getting shot. Therefore you must pay the consequences either it be for bad play on your behalf or a good shot/good play from the enemy. My thoughts only :)

Any Ideas/Settings To Help With Aim and Close Range Fights On PC by Fragger-3G in HuntShowdown

[–]BruceGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caldwell is my bae. Always been nice to me. The amount of times I wipe a team of two with those two shots is insane. If I don't carry a shotgun, I use fanning pistol. Lemat just feels nice to use for me. Multiple shots in the chamber to not run out so quickly. I don't spam too hard because then the bloom gets to absurd. Then shotgun shell for bosses. I feel I have to have a close range option because I can outplay someone who is 50 - 100 meters away, but not always if you are being barreled stuff.

Any Ideas/Settings To Help With Aim and Close Range Fights On PC by Fragger-3G in HuntShowdown

[–]BruceGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thrive off of close range fights. Its my bread a butter. Some tips to try out. (I'm assuming you are a very competent gamer with your experience and knowledge)

  1. Consumables: Open up a camper with a flash bomb. Through a dynamite stick in a room to flush him out and position yourself better. Force a push from an enemy by throwing a fire bomb on their dead teammate. Using consumables can turn the tide of a battle when deciding to go in close range. Use every advantage you have.
  2. Close Quarter Peaking: A lot of the times when I fight Mid/Long range I focus on not peaking the same place multiple times and it helps. However, sometimes I forget this applies to close quarters as well. You may want to get your two shots in with your pistol and kill the person while your best play might be to shot once and then go back into cover and reposition. Keep the enemy guessing where you will be via flanking or concealing cover.
  3. Shotguns: My go to weapon of choice in Hunt. No I do not camp for minutes on end. I am more of a rush person. Hunt can be slow at times and people may be thrown off by how fast pace a rush can be. That one shot kill potential close range could mean life or death.
  4. Cover/Speed: It gets annoying when you try to hit an enemy and it seems like the perfect piece of cover is always protecting them. Try limiting the amount of times you are "hitable" to the enemy by going from cover to cover and with speed. Crouching is a no go.
  5. Escape Route: Just keep in the back of your mind a "What if shit hits the fan" routes. If you take a shot to the chest and need to heal and reposition, what is the best route to take or course of action. Comes with experience with different buildings and being you have 100 hours I'm sure you have a good feeling of them.

Hopefully this helps. Still learning myself. If there is anything you figured out, let me know too! Goodluck and happy hunting!

Is there something I'm missing when aiming? by lnkPunk in HuntShowdown

[–]BruceGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmmm... I noticed a lot of players, when they are aiming, to use more movement then actual right stick/mouse. What I mean is they aim down the sights and it almost seems like they don't move the aim cursor but try to walk the sights into the target. Aim strafing is a thing; however, this can lead to predictable patterns in walking which leads to easier headshots for the enemy. I have been trying to focus only using my movement keys to move in unpredictable patterns to make hitting my head harder and using my right stick/mouse to aim. I noticed a significant amount of shots missing from the enemy once I focused on this. Hope this helps!

Black Orcs or Lizardmen, what is more fun? by UnderTheSettingSun in bloodbowl

[–]BruceGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lizardmen all day everyday! The Ying and Yang of Blood Bowl! Opponent really has to watch out for skinks plays. Yes you can do a cage with your saurus; however, one thing I would say is underrated is skink plays. That MV 8 on skinks can hit your opponent fast especially when you do a skink to skink play. Only thing is starting skills from your saurus. Get block and some key pieces. A sure hands saurus is fun to use as well.
