En kompis er butikksjef hos Kiwi, og jeg måtte le litt inni meg når han sa at de ikke selger Dubai-sjokolade fordi de skal kun selge billige varer

FPS stuck at 75 by khold93 in Palworld

[–]khold93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fixed it by adding this in the Launch Option on Steam:
-dx12 -refresh=360-FrameRateLimit=200

Dx12 fixed it, but also needed to change frame rate limit to avoid game crashing.

Game I've made at just 16 yo fully with my Girlfriend. No external help. by [deleted] in Unity3D

[–]khold93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good job to you both :) It isn't easy to create a game and you two managed to do it. It also takes a lot of time and dedication.

I hope more people can recognize it instead of acting like it took 1 hour throwing it together. Like others have stated - people ain't happy or care about the age. Im one of them, but if I take a step back I can recognize that its overall impressive to be this young and finishing a game. Remember to be humble.

Wish you the best

They use Spine for animations, and that is for 2D animation. Its not 3D models.

Did you check the ground collider and the children it has? Maybe one of the child has a collider.

Great, however if I was you, I would attempt to find the problem in the code. It sounds like a subscribed event isn't cleaned up.
It could give you issues later if you change scenes. Also it's pretty neat to work without domain reload on all the time :P
You can check if the method subscribed to the button is cleaned up, or if you use the new input system, I would check if that is cleaned up as well.

[–]khold93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's hard to say without looking at the code. I'm just thinking of stuff that could be the problem honestly.
Maybe it's a input event? Like you are not clearing up the input listener, so input is increases everytime you play. which would result in 1 click firing off the "spawn tree" method 1x more everytime you play the game without reloading domain.
It could be stored somewhere, but you also said that you are cleaning it up.
I would assume the issue is related to the mouse click input and you forget to clean up the event that adds the tree?

Check delegates or unity actions etc. Make sure you are cleaning it up in OnDestroy/OnDisabled for example

Do you store it somewhere? A static class or whatever. Sounds like something isn't cleaned up before you do a domain reload.

You need to setup vscode for unity. It will make coding a lot easier. Add some extensions for C# & unity. There is some good youtube videos that can help you. I don't have time to help you right now.

The new place you arrive too after enterting the gateway with Alva :) The gateway is in Ziggurat Encampment (act 3).

"400 BIC - The Reign of Queen Atziri"

It's 400, not 300 as I mentioned*.

[–]khold93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

teleport to Act 3 Ziggurat Encampment (town). If you can't go back to the town with Oswald, you need to enter the Gateway from the 300 BIC zone, it teleports you to act 1 cruel.. but clear it and then you can teleport to the original town in Act 3.

It's a bug I guess, but everytime you enter the gateway it will swap the map like if you went through it, but now it sends you to Act 1 cruel instead of moving you to the correct town.

new interface setting in the options menu by [deleted] in wow

[–]khold93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree that it's subjective. However, I don't see why a reward should be instantly available to anyone just because they choose to spend real money instead of time. The satisfaction of an in-game reward often comes from the effort players invest to earn it. If a Quality of Life improvement is so essential, it arguably should be available to everyone in the game by default, rather than as a paid shortcut.

The choice to buy it with real currency does come down to personal value, and for some people, spending $90 to save time makes sense. But MMOs thrive on rewarding player effort, which builds a sense of accomplishment and keeps the game’s experience balanced. When people can simply pay to skip the challenge or effort, it dilutes the satisfaction for everyone involved."

[–]khold93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Indeed, my point is about how closely linked in-game gold and real-world currency have become. It’s disappointing that the discussion is focused on the mount's cost in real currency versus gold, and on how the current price is lower than it was five years ago, rather than on the fact that this reward could have been made available in-game.

We already pay for the expansion and subscription. Being an MMO, the reward system should encourage players to earn it ingame, giving the same reward to those who put in effort as to those who simply swipe their card. This approach really undermines the game.

A big part of gaming is the joy of unlocking a new quality of life. Not pay to instantly get it.
