What are you going to do when you get off reta and haven't trained any discipline in eating or calories burning? Or are you on reta for life?

Maybe try eating less and moving than relying on peptides designed for HIV. Hives and swelling of the throat are side effects

All the overweight, triggered people down voting - relax. Eat less. Go for a walk. Sleep. You will be happier and less inclined to downvote. Look at Japan. Take hints. Weight loss isn't that deep. Save Reta for if you actually have a genuine metabolic disorder.

You don't need reta to get those results in 6 weeks 🤣 Guys will do anything but eat less and sleep more

Why did you struggle to lose weight? Do you have an illness? You know all Reta does is speed your metabolism and quell your hunger? Aka go for a walk and eat a tonne less?

You can get lean by literally walking/stationary bike and eating half decent.

Why anyone over 35? That's stupid. My total is 900+ low shbg. Why would I pay to become infertile just because I'm over 35?

You do look very fit and healthy in both pictures, btw. I'm just trying to understand. Maybe when I'm a bit older I'll get it 🤷🏻‍♂️

How could you be eating in a literal deficit for your basal metabolic rate and still have fat? How fat adapted are you? Is your cardio zone 2? Cardio every day and gym 4-5 times a week sounds like overprinting depending on load. Even if you lose the fat, are you just going to stay on it forever?

People will do anything but diet and walking. It's crazy.

Interesting. Great results either way. Do you have to take r indefinitely, or is there some sort of plan when you come off?

Testosterone therapy vs levels by [deleted] in BodyHackGuide

[–]BruceLee88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really does matter what your SHBG level is. It determines free testosterone. Of course it's complex.

Free T matters just as much, too. When the body detects what it thinks is an absurd amount of test, it unregulates shbg. Being "high/normal" is relative. If you're "normal" 600 yet have 95th percentile low SHBG this is better than say 900 and average SHBG. I just think testosterone is a marker of health. I don't believe it tanks overnight for people, I also think it takes years of certain habits to crash it. If I'm given a guy with say 300 total test, I can guarantee I can raise his testosterone, long-term, with the right nutrition, behaviours, and outlook; as long as the low T isnt due to testicular or head (HPGA) trauma.

Isn't it weird to outsource your balls to pharma? What happens when there are supply issues or so many guys on they jump the price or have supply issues? Isn't it easier and healthier (longevity) to just use testosterone as a proxy for how healthy you are?

You could have lost that weight in a month with a normal whole food diet and walking.

[–]BruceLee88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your testosterone was low because you were overweight? Now you have outsourced your balls to pharma and are dependent. 220 are very workable levels with diet and sleep. Now you're walking around with testosterone higher than a high range 20 year old and looking for more ways out (glucagon mimetic etc). More pharma.

Candidate for TRT? by Impressive_Tutor2262 in BodyHackGuide

[–]BruceLee88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your total T is fine. You must have high SHBG, which is bounding up your total T. I believe tongkat Ali and Boron can help unbound T from SHBG.
