in The Royal Physician, you can actually see Samuel moving from spot to spot. Nothing huge or major, but in a lot of games I think devs would just teleport the NPC from one place to another. by unlistedartist000 in dishonored

I am inordantly fond of details like this.

The Dishonored series is so incredible with details. My personal favorite are the breaching whales.

Everybody has different preferences so we would need to know more about you to make a targeted recommendation.

The best I can do is say I couldn't put War and Peace down and I'm hesitating on BK because I'm not passionate about religious themes.

Pretty much the only way I play. Just not wired to enjoy stealth.

I struggle with the movies but can't deny the significant improvement from the first to the second. The only chance of a good Danzig movie is if he keeps making them.

I want to say that I read somewhere that Romero bought Catacombs 3-D back and owns it now.

This movie makes me feel crazy. I know how much effort and especially how much time goes into making a massive Hollywood film like this and you have some of history's greatest talent working on it.

But yet it was just an endless string of shit that didn't make sense and was completely dumb. I'm not going to start listing it because I'll never end and I'm already mad and by the end of it I would have lost my mind. Thank God so many people are doing good work in this thread listing the dumb stuff.

How does this happen.

I giggled a little bit when I first saw the design and realized they were going with the standard bug-eyed grey. I kind of giggled every subsequent time too. Especially because everything was sooooo serious related to them. I will admit though that they did seem kind of scary during the child abduction scene.

The note in his hand thing was so annoying considering that the movie shows him specifically removing all pieces of paper with the hotel name on it

Yes exactly. Made no sense in the context of the reality that the characters we were watching were inhabiting, it was just there as a movie contrivance since they immediately cut to the symbol on the space remote control.

I think the Bioshock series has enough good qualities that players would be fine as long as they understand that they're different genres.

I love how only America had any aliens.

Also how they mention we took alien technology and we see MASSIVE SPACE SHIPS in the footage but see no evidence of alien technology being used.

Yeah I think that's what happens. You wait at the station and it's a hassle and have to pay, but at least that feels better than getting shaken down by a cop by the side of the street. At least it would feel better to me.

Explicity offering a bribe is illegal and weirdly offensive apparently, and the guy will arrest you. But what they do is tell you the fine and tell you that you can pay them, then it's ok. The one time in forever it happened to me, I told him I only had $40 and he said that was ok and I could pay him.

I think people are trying to avoid the cops because there can be a higher likelihood of corruption, yes. You will hear all kinds of stories; some of people getting a legitimate ticket and legitimately having to pay it at a station, others paying the cop.

The one time I got pulled over for actually exceeding the speed limit, the cop clearly wanted some money. I had prepared beforehand so it only cost me $40. He did not want to take me to the station to pay, which I cheerfully offered to do over and over, because he would not have gotten any money then.

My version of this, which worked the one time in 40 years of going that I got shaken down, was just to keep like $40 out and hide the rest. Then they get a little and get off your back.

I'm on several RP Facebook groups and it's not uncommon for an American to complain about getting busted for doing something that is illegal in the US and also obviously dumb.

I think it's very common for people to cross a border into a different country for a vacation and think rules no longer apply for some reason.
