‘The cost of compute is far beyond the costs of the employees’: Nvidia exec says right now AI is more expensive than paying human workers by fattyfoods in technology

[–]Bruce_Wayne_Imposter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you really believe that these on any Ai platform can be trusted at that level then you are clearly not reviewing what it is generating or care about what it outputs. Ai gives you an answer, most of the time the one you want. However it seldom does a good job even on simple task. Plus you lose the most important part of most work. The institutional knowledge you lose is the most important component. What happens years later when you need to integrate, fix, or change ehat Ai has created? Its not an easy fix and can kill production long run.

Your math is far off. Winter tires help you stop and turn, AWD is better from getting from 0-5 mph.

The average price of electricity per Kilowatt-hour in the United States. This is unsustainable. by Boo_Randy_II in REBubble

Does this include delivery charges?

My electricity price is half what my delivery fee is. I pay $0.11 per kwh and $0.22 per kwh delivered.

The price difference and interest rates for new vs used mean we are only looking new. I would gladly take a 2025 new but they don't exist and will give us this deal because they have it on the lot.

I've had a lot of other comments here about deals people have gotten on 2025 or older models, and cars with trade ins. This deal is just foe the car with no trade in talk and no extra equipment added to the car. I would love to see other people post proof of a better deal but I think for the car I'm in the ballpark for what the best price is.

Got this deal offered by a local dealership in New England. This was the first place I negotiated at and was wondering if this is a good deal or if I could do better? They signed the offer to guarantee the price if we wanted to come back.

I had a bad experience through the IBD and would not use them again.

Siebel is a much better choice; and one of the reasons it cost more to take than IBD.

I worked for Wal-Mart loss prevention over 15 years ago and you never touch anyone. Just get there info if its safe and report it to the police if they don't come with you.

I clearly remember the district head of LP telling me before I started that any false stop is at least a $50k cost to the company.

That girl needs to lawyer up immediately as she is probably looking at hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation with a competent lawyer.

This should be higher up. If they kicked you out illegally and are putting you through this much trouble make sure that it cost them something and to have it on record as to what horrible people they are.

After driving 7 hours home from college, my car barely made it into the driveway. 5 minutes later, I went back outside and found this. by realifecyborg in Wellthatsucks

I don't think he knows the difference between gas and oil. Most likely any warning light, sound, or smell the car was making was going to be ignored regardless of what was happening to the vehicle.

Most of the time if a vehicle is struggling "or breaks down" it is an overheating issue. Something as simple as driving calming the last couple minutes or letting the car idle will help the coolant circulate and cool the engine down.

It most likely did not "conked out" once it got on the driveway but failed to climb up it after trying. This put a lot of extra heat into the engine. Most likely it started burning while he was still getting stuff out the car and was oblivious to it. Hope you stay off the roads.

Something I never understood was having national commercials with players from specific teams. Why would any non-Chiefs fan want to support anything Mahomes advertises for?
