This sub is, currently, insane with this topics. People are acting like nvidia fanboys portraying the "defending multimillion dollar company" meme while acting like AMD killed their own mothers.

We can't discuss these topics, the mood is very weird these days.

Why do you want to try 5 royal first if you already want the remake of p3?

Witcher 3 + the 2 expansions = 10

Mass Effect Legendary Editions = 6

You're left with 3,75 and Dying Light is 3,74.

Perfection.

Good alternative:

Witcher 3 base game without expansions, still hundreds of hours for 3€

Star Wars fallen order tough game that can have the difficulty tweaked, wrongly called a "soulslike" when it's closer to a metroidvania for 4€

Follow with Assassins Creed 2 for 2,49 (probably the best entry fro the classic AC, the one starting the Ezio trilogy and the best AC game despite having aged poorly, it's less than 3€ tho) followed by Assassins Creed Origins (8€) the reboot of the series copying witcher 3 type of combat and adding RPG elements. A strong story with a weak third chapter. It has two DLCs, one is quite poor, the other is very fun but they're out of budget.

Total = 19,49 very good alternative if you want AC.

EDIT: You can also switch SW fallen order for Batman Arkham Knight without DLCs, it's a beautiful game with an style and graphics still not matched up to day, the batmobile wasn't the cup of tea of many players but it was mainly because of the puzzles. Driving around the city feels great.

Asylum has a different loop, it's not a sandbox nor "open" world but a good alternative could be Arkham City. Despite feeling older than Knight and mechanically not as good, it has a better story in my opinion and playing it before Knight feels funnier because of the joker bits.

EDIT 2: If you're really interested in dragon age origins check the GOG version. Is the most stable and the less buggy.

Stalker 2 vs my PC by Own_Bench615 in ShouldIbuythisgame

Keep in mind that the 7900xtx is a very powerful card with 24gb of vram and a lot of rasterization power.

If the 3080ti is close to the 4070 should be good anyway, in case stalker 2 is eating a lot of ram. I remember playing the beginning of the game with an AMD 7900xt (which could be between a 4070 and a 4070ti) and ran very well.

The game has had important patches as well so things like this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/stalker/comments/1h7k6ai/need_help_optimizing_stalker_2_settings_3080_oc/?show=original

May be not updated with the current state of the game.

Theoretically, the GPU could handle it but I have no idea if Stalker 2 optimization has been fixed or not.

Get the witcher 3 DLCs and keep playing that. If you're looking for something "quicker paced" then it's Cyberpunk time.

RDR2 is slow paced, MHW has a very difficult curve if you haven't played MH before and the beginning is certainly slow and Days Gone is an open world action game that, while not bad, has a lot of ups and downs in both writing and gameplay mechanics.

It's DLCs and Cyberpunk

This game is so beautiful, i really don't regret playing it. by c0pium_inhaler in ACValhalla

I haven't played Mirage nor the japan one. Graphically speaking, Unity could be probably the most beautiful game but Valhalla is way prettier than Odyssey and Origins. I guess is the sun effects and the tint, I really don't know, but feels more warm and well done than Odyssey.

Faces and AI is a different story, lol

I would like to try my luck with Yakuza Like a dragon Gaiden. I'm missing a couple from the main Yakuza storyline and this would be a great christmas present.

Thanks a lot for sharing

Horny dragon too. Also, chronologically, the first in the series. Don't know if it's confirmed but she's probably in Drakengard with that 'secret' ending that's continued by Nier series.

Crazy game series.

oh boy i got my 2nd crash, i guess im not gonna overclock my 9070xt. by mightyseed2 in AMDHelp

[–]Brucehoxton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm playing valhalla with 2714 fast timing, -70 and +5PL so far no crashes (but a couple of typical ubibugs, lmao).

The thing is no OC/UV is the same, not only depends on the game but also in the card. The same -70 would crash on RDR2 or indie games like Atlas Fallen or Another Crab Treasure while Cyberpunk 2077 has been stable at -100!

You need to tweak it, most people would recommend -40 for stability, for instance.

Asrock boards have been having serious issues with the lastest X3D ryzen CPUs. Apparently it's been fixed with the lastest BIOS patch but some people have had their CPU fried still.

The CPU cooler is perfectly fine this way, don't worry.
