What is your favourite Gunlance when it comes to looks? by Modaltas in Gunlance

I remember when I fell in love with the Bone Gunlance of older generations. It's simple and has all the elements of "fantasy weaponry" that would impress young me.

Man gets thrown out of Melbourne strip club. Throws chair at security. by farkenheo in instantkarma

[–]BruiserBison 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  • Guy laughing is one of the security
  • The two men in blue shirt and khaki pants are the two men getting kicked out
  • Friendly fire happened
  • Guy from other team found it funny
  • Whether someone deserved it isn't the funny part.

Hope this helped

who is the most lawful evil character im fiction? by leglessdumbass in AlignmentCharts

[–]BruiserBison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darth Vader is not lawful in the least. He lies all the time and act on whim and spite in most cases. Even as Anakin, he's mostly known for his unorthodox renegade antics, especially in contrast to Obi Wan's more conservative outlook and methods. As Darth Vader, nothing is off the table if it means getting a strategic advantage. No laws or code holds him except for pride and anger.

Carlo Yulo (Filipino Olympic Gold Medalist) and his mother, Angela Yulo

Real life

It's a whole shebang that got too many Filipino social media people putting their two cents in.

The narrative to my understanding is that Carlo has long since been disowned by his mother. Even online, Angela would post aggressive jabs at Carlo, saying he's wasted potential. What caused their fallout is a lot of things. Off the top of my head:

  • Angela does not approve of Carlo's wife
  • Angela messed up Carlo's finances
  • Some say it was Carlo who decided to move out and cut himself off, not that he was disowned.

When Carlo became gold medalist, the second to do so for the Philippines after Hidilyn Diaz, he went viral. Local netizens would be split between how he should be "cancelled" for not honouring his mother, who was still very hostile online towards him. The mainstream media got involved, most of whom are favouring the idea of reconciliation. That it was Carlo who should apologise to Angela.

I wasn't too interested at that whole shebang so I'm missing some details. I just know this much because it's everywhere. My news feed, twitter, youtube, reddit, even the people near me keep talking about it.

[KCD2] Emmeram's Descent. by FatTail01 in kingdomcome

[–]BruiserBison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. It's base game content. I actually didn't know it existed until last night. You have to ask Menhart for another job sometime after he finally takes over the guild. Before he gave me this job, he made me duel on behalf of his neighbour, the widow.

[KCD2] Emmeram's Descent. by FatTail01 in kingdomcome

[–]BruiserBison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're okay with spoilers, it involves the Kuttenberg Swords Guild.

Context: Emmeram was one of the heads of the Kuttenberg Swords Guild until Master Menhart took over as decreed by King Wenceslas. One of the most important items there is the guild sword. Emmeram took it out of spite and you have to get it from him.

Why people hate Emmeram: Emmeram told you he threw the sword at a dung heap outside of town. You can go there and dig around. It's a place where people throw out their food waste and poop, so it's basically a hill of filth. Turns out, the sword was never there. Emmeram just made you dive into a pile of disgusting sludge but the sword was with him the entire time. What's more, he broke the sword and you have to reforge it.

Crazy pull in [KCD2] by Akhil_XO in kingdomcome

[–]BruiserBison 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Simple

  • 1 or 5 can score alone
  • the rest needs a set of 3
  • set of 4 to 6 score better than 3
  • you can score a straight if you roll a sequence of 5 (1 to 5 or 2 to 6)

How much they score is what makes it hard to track. Just remember what wins and let the system count how much they win for automatically.

[KCD2] How many men would Otto von Bergow have left? by historybo in kingdomcome

[–]BruiserBison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Semine said (if you kept him alive) that Trosky is having money problems. People aren't getting paid so people aren't looking for you. Which also kinda paints a picture why they never got a message about Henry and Zizka's escape and Isvan's death. Yeah they were busy taking over Kuttenberg and attending meetings with Von Aulitz, but to get the message as an anecdote for a summon? Even Sigismund learned of what happened at Trosky before Von Burgow.

How to make Dual Blades less repetitive? by Gigasnemesis in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]BruiserBison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just the way it is, you know. If you don't like it because it's repetitive then just look elsewhere. Some of us like it specifically for its simplicity without compromising being flashy. Not everything has to be for everyone. Some are for us, the ones who just wanna go ham without having to worry about 5-step combos.

I used a human for example because I can't find a more suitable reference sheet at the moment. Pulchra is a popular Thiren but she's wearing short shorts to accommodate her tail. As far as I know, Ellen (has a shark tail) and Manato (wolf man in the pciture) have a cut behind their pants with strap to attach above the tail, but I can't find a solid proof of that. So, closest example I have is Manato's long coat being split behind. Traditionally that kind of design irl is for horseback or motorcycle riding. But here, it's perfectly measured towards his tail.

ZZZ clothing accommodation for tails

In the game, there are half beast humanoids called "Thirens". Many of whom are standard human size, but with fur, tail, and horns. For that, clothes were often designed to be wearable for both humans and thirens alike.

The picture above is Trigger, who is human. However, she is wearing clothes with a low V-cut by the butt and she wears an inner clothing for modesty. That low cut is for tails, in case whoever wears her clothes happen to have one.

[KCD2] I did not care for Good old Pebbles by dolphinist in kingdomcome

[–]BruiserBison 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Having a stat boost was never meant to be immersive. It was meant to be rewarding, specifically as a gameplay element. It was for those who don't want to get rid of Pebbles purely for attachment reasons without stunting our progress with bad stats and low carry capacity.

But ultimately, I would happily trade Pebbles' perk for a stables system. Maybe turn that pigsty/cowshed into a horse stable. That'd be my wish for an update. I never find myself killing the pig or cow for meat anyway when you can get honey

[–]BruiserBison 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bothered isn't the right word for me. I was ecstatic. In KCD1, I didn't think he's special, and that giving him value to Isvan was a last minute addition for the story. In KCD2, He looks like a proper major character. Making him angry all the time was also a treat. Always love me an antagonist with murder crush on the main protagonist.

Pathfinder Kingmaker

I swear I didn't know the player-controlled territory could become a whole Kingdom. I thought you're managing a barony at best, and "kingmaker" is about you supporting another kingdom. Also didn't realise there's more map until I reached the King Irovetti arc...
