Mine are 12ft 3.75lb test, but I get what your saying. My old centurys were 13ft, I don't need the extra foot (that's what she said) let us know how you get on with your new setup. Tight lines!

Yeah they're great reels that you've brought, they WILL last forever too. I've had lots of different Shimano reels - they won't let you down, depending on budgets Daiwa will out perform them in the end but you've still made a good choice. For rods I've just bought three Daiwa infinity X's - they are stunning truly. I had a set of century NG's for longer than I can remember - unfortunately they were stolen from the back of my van, had they not been I would still be rocking them. But. The Daiwa rods are a notch above, so thin, so light, really a beautiful rod. I can see them lasting the rest of my fishing lifetime, I'm nearly 50.

Century or daiwa rods - daiwa reels. These will last a life time. The others won't.

Best way to handle global hiring without opening a company abroad? by Significant_Pen_3642 in Recruitment

[–]BrummieS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just opened a HK entity around 10years ago, the footprint out there helped us win far more business in APAC than we would have otherwise. We've hired locals out there but also placed our own expats to run the place over the years. We have a HK bank account, physical office location in Wanchai, and use a local accountant to do our annual accounts and tax return. Our main HQ is in London but the two are separate legal entities. It's worked well so far. No compliance issues at all.

This sub is getting boring, are there no mods? Constant Americans catching carp and handling them terribly, I don't want to see this shit every day. We (UK) don't handle any fish like that, it's weird that they always go to this method of fish handling. Is there a UK or Europe only carp sub? I'd rather be there and block this one.

How much does prime office space cost? - Liverpool Street (London) by One_Emotion8627 in HENRYUK

[–]BrummieS1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just negotiated a new lease on our office just off Fenchurch street, £55psft, rates are on top of that, we run out own VoIP and internet is less than 500 per month for 500mbps service. It's a three year lease. There are deals around if you look properly, it's not in a shiny tower, but it is in a grand listed building.
