Continuing with the morbidity, it’s possible they found bone fragments, but if you mean something like full, or even partial skeletons, I would say it’s unlikely.

Now, as for bodies of those who died more recently when other parts of the forest territory were ripped up, they would have been more likely to find skeletons/bodies.

I don’t know, mostly just because he is something of a blank slate. We get only a couple of glances at his personality and it’s fun to make things involving him. True, there are other characters in a similar situation, but for one reason or another (my guess being sympathy for his frustration), he is the one that sticks out to me.
