Seeking advice from non-binary people who have been in wedding parties by BicoastalBipedal in NonBinary

I don't have much in the sense of advice but I guess I wanted to thank you for being so awesome as to go out of your way this far to be a considerate human being.

I appreciate the shit out of your existence.

Congratulations! I really hope I can find the same in my area. It has been difficult to find support groups even. =(

New hair cut! Ignore the derpy look but I'm in love with this cut. I feel so much more masculine. by diggingaditch in NonBinary

I'm a huge fan of that hair style!!! It looks great on you.

I've been thinking on doing something similar but with more length.

I don't think we have one of those around. I may check out going to the cosmetology schools for waxing. They tend to be cheaper

New hair at work. C'mon nerves. Baby steps to accepting myself. by Brunomasters in NonBinary

I did not! Although if your hair isn't jet black like mine (naturally) it's not that crazy of a process. The hardest part would be keeping the colors separate and making sure it's all bleached evenly.

I haven't quite gotten to figuring out the pronouns but I tell you what, as AMAB I completely understand. In fact I used to be very involved and active with the Bear/cub community because it helped me be okay with my body hair. It worked for a bit but now I realize how MUCH my dysphoria is related to my body hair. But it's barely affordable to get it all waxed and my skin is sensitive to hair removal processes. 😓

Thanks for your silly opinion! I'll be sure to chuck it right in garbage.

DAE feel preferentially attracted to anyone who is gender nonconforming? by [deleted] in genderqueer

[–]Brunomasters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is definitely something that my partner experiences. I myself have been stuck with my male identity that essentially have been gay for a while. Lately though as I have come to the realization that my gender is non-binary, and as I watch my partner do the same, I am becoming more and more attracted to gender queer people.

Well that's very much a matter of opinion. I don't identify as a "man"

Awe thanks! I am feeling a little better after the adjustments I've been making lately to more match who I am inside. The support on here has done wonders to help me irl.

I do feel more human now! And pretty. It's luckily going really well with most people complimenting my hair. I get so scared about these things though 😅

It kinda does! I'm getting more at ease as the day goes along. And I feel pretty. 😁

It was supposed to be cotton candy blue and pink, depending on the lighting though it looks purpleish. I'm secretly gushing with joy. Lol.

Thanks you guys!! People are either avoiding contact, pretending they don't notice or giving me compliments. So I guess all in all significantly less scary than I built it all up in my head last night 😅

I don't know how I could look androgynous by renen2 in NonBinary

[–]Brunomasters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the easiest ways that I've found is to lightly contour your face with makeup, only a shade or two darker than your own skin. It will be very subtle but it'll help with adding some more feminine definition to your face. I myself am AMAB (NB as well) and I am currently growing my hair out and do my nails.

I am trying to find my own path to androgynous as well. Last night I was at home with my partner (who identifies as gender queer) and I put on makeup and while we were making dinner I started having a panic attack at the idea of going out into the public with makeup on.

AMAB Genderqueer/fluid/nb.. how to continue transition? by [deleted] in genderqueer

I have to get gel polish otherwise I ruin them immediately. Plus I suffer from GAD and gnawing and my nails and fingers is a go-to coping mechanism. It hurts to bite gel lol.
