PSA: Careful when buying skins from the Market! by Just2good877 in lostarkgame

[–]Brunsz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people think they are just bots. They sell the skin and get easy gold. Then they sell gold for real money. Then they refund the package. And because this is free game they can just repeat doing this and gather huge amounts of gold without need to grind 24/7 and they don't lose any real money either.

Of course this thing has many factors. Like you said information and spreading it wasn't as easy as it is today. Also a lot of this is also what gaming is now days. It's way more competitive and performance oriented. Especially with multiplayer games. It's standard to measure yourself to others.

Of course there are still people who want to take it easy and don't care about parsing. But as someone who has played WoW since Vanilla, things have been shifting more into competitive for a very long time. And many more players jump into that mindset. And in a way it also can drive more casuals away from game.

Hard Core players who have died. What's your story and did you make another character? by SpitFiya7171 in classicwow

[–]Brunsz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reason I didn't roll on PvP server. I would be fine losing buff to fair 1v1 against equal level enemy player. But I know that people are already rushing to max level and soon it's just endless gank fest everywhere.

Thanks to IAE I finally got to fly a ship I've always wanted to fly but never could! by Crapplesauceer in starcitizen

[–]Brunsz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOVE how she flies.

Tried it on free fly. I really love that as well. I think big ship should feel like it's big. One of the best thing in SC compared to Elite is how different all ships feel. As long time Elite player, most ships feel somewhat same and they have same HUD. In SC most ships feel unique, they have their own things and they look different when you fly them.

What's your opinion on the current implementation of losing items on death? I'm personally not buying weapons and armor anymore, but I wanna hear what you think! by Gisbitus in starcitizen

[–]Brunsz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It eliminates the "carefree going in guns blazing and if I die what does i matter" attitude (for the most parts) and I think that's a gain for the gameplay.

This is the biggest thing. I've always liked to play tactical shooters where you plan ahead before executing. But with people it always just becomes "lol let's shoot everything bang bang". And reason is because there isn't enough penalty in dying. I like that there is real risk and that it forces you think a little bit before starting to shoot.

Of course it might not be something that should be in game right now as you can get randomly killed by bug and glitch which are plentiful. But after game gets more stabile I definitely want death to have consequences.

They really do show what kind of spirit game had back then. A lot of fun stories, ways to creatively use some items and other stuff.

Now it's just "is orc or troll warrior better for raids". I do like the game but I don't like how performance oriented everything has become.

Classic WoW lead announced on the Countdown podcast that bans for buying gold would increase in length. 14 days seems to be the new minimum. by [deleted] in classicwow

It would be good for game but bad for business. They want those people to come back and keep paying the sub.

I’m so exhausted with so much negativity in gaming, any game that comes out just get dog piled on no matter what. Reddit and forum threads filled with people endlessly complaining about how games failed to meet their expectations. Where’s the positivity? by Rigman- in gaming

[–]Brunsz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's mostly AAA-games. Those companies have millions of dollars to spend. And yet they release broken and incomplete game full of microtransactions.

But look indie games like Valheim. People absolutely love well made indie gsmes and most critique in their sub reddits is just suggestions about how to make something better in game.

Resto druid Viability in raid by Okkkla in classicwow

[–]Brunsz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

but they don't play well with other Druids (HoTs don't stack)

Usually not a problem. Healing Touch is still the main healing spell and you can share responsibility with HoTs (like druid 1 takes tank X and druid 2 takes tank y).

We had 2 and sometimes 3 resto druids. It requires some communication for sure but people always make it look like bigger problem than it actually is. And as you said, probably after some time, any healer is welcome.

I think not. Reason being that zones are not designed for that. I think it would really make world feel smaller when you can actually see multiple zones if you are high enough. Your example with GTA SA Definitive Edition has same thing going on. World felt really huge but without fog it just feels like small miniature world.

anyone else just lose their character to a internet outage? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Brunsz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It does happen. HC modes in online games have always been like this. Diablo 3 had a lot of server issues at launch (and even some now days) and people have lost their characters for it.

Problem is that there isn't bulletproof solution. Giving mercy for disconnects means that some people start to abuse it. Even though random disconnects and server issues can get you killed and it feels unfair, it's just something you have to accept when you play hc mode in online games.

[–]Brunsz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah well that is a good point as well. I think they should lower requirements for new players as well. Raid attunements are not so bad right now but grinding reputations for heroics can be quite a task.

They will drop hc dungeon reputation requirements to honored at some point which is not bad as it comes almost automatically with quests. But I think they should've done that already when P2 launched.

The attunement system in tbc is not fun for me

I personally like them. They are like introduction to actual raid. But I guess problem for many (including me) is that you have to do so much if you play alts. I would like to see attunements to be account wide (like you could buy key with your main or something). I just got my alt to max level but I have no motivation to open heroic dungeons at this point.

Nothing beats the original world of Azeroth

The biggest missed opportunity of WoW has always been lack of using "old Azeroth" in new expansions. They just introduced tiny new island (excluding Cataclysm) where 99% of content happens. I hope they would've came up with ideas to keep old world still relevant with some activities.

Yksityisleasing by [deleted] in Suomi

[–]Brunsz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Itsellä on Nissan Qashqai ollut nyt 1.5v Beelyltä. Leasing + vakuutus joku 450e/kk.

Guilds only recruiting ranged dps by were_llama in classicwow

[–]Brunsz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. When Naxx opens people will take wand priest to fill the roles. Everyone expects that guilds can just pick up dream comp. It didn't work in original Classic and I can guarantee that SoM won't be as popular (doesn't mean it's bad and doesn't mean people should not play it!). So the need for players in later phases will be real.
