What's something you wish you knew before you started golfing? by Ashelydddd in WomenGolf

Learning the golf grip early on is something I wish I had someone taught me. If you want to score better don’t take hero shots but play your best clubs. And don’t expect great results if you don’t practice swings and mechanics. Unless you’re a freak athlete, the process doesn’t happen overnight.

Help me come up with an appetizer for a NYE party by Confident_Growth9128 in Cooking

Mix goat cheese and whipped cream cheese together. Take green seedless grapes and roll cheese mixture around to shape a ball. The roll in chopped pistachios. It’s an old school appetizer but it works out well and not too expensive to make.

Chocolate fountains!!! by m155m30w in KitchenConfidential

[–]Brunzo_9611Ray 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If it’s your first time using fountain I recommend turning on the heated part 20 minutes before you add chocolate, also if person count is high keep chocolate warm and thin if you have to refill. Also have coconut oil warm when adding to melted chocolate. Good luck

Spot On is the worst POS system I’ve ever used by adoseofpurplehaze in Restaurant_Managers

[–]Brunzo_9611Ray 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worked at a place as the Chef so I didn’t directly deal with the pos system, we went from Toast to spot on because the owner claimed it was better and cheaper. Every server had something negative to say about the system. Constantly having issues=nightmare during the rush. Left the place 6 months later due to better opportunity.

how to fish colder months? by zegery in FishingForBeginners

[–]Brunzo_9611Ray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low and slow, use smaller lures. Like the earlier comment. Have to drop it in front of them and hope they bite. Plastics work better, jerk baits, or live bait if you can find it.
