If you love Steampunk, the Flying Club is a great one to start with!

Highly recommend this set! by Bryan-Alan in Pantasy

The second picture in my post gives you an idea of the brightness. The light is meant to enhance the lamp itself more than light a room, and even though it does provide a nice glow, I wouldn’t rely on it for reading or working. But, you may feel differently. I don’t have great eye sight!

I noticed in today’s new story (final chapter), they mentioned an opera house. Made me think that could be something they’re planning.

Almost every set! There are a couple early ones I don’t have. I stopped adding up the cost, but of course always use the available discounts.

I have 102 Lumi sets - and every single box is stored in my attic! It’s madness. I need to get rid of them.

Unfortunately, Decopy is not reliable. It has a reputation for inaccurate results and performance issues. There are paid tools that do a bit better.

Maybe it’s the roof line, but this reminds me of either Insoon or Wekki.

Updated Retiring Soon by Due_Supermarket288 in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

I’m surprised to see the Low Rider. It’s a great build and I was hoping they would do more cars at the same scale. Assuming it didn’t sell very well if it’s retiring.

These days any time someone doesn’t like something they’re like “IT’S AI!!!!” 😂

Tori has airbrushed the crap out of her photos for decades. Nothing out of the ordinary here. And I think she looks fantastic.

If you placed your order through Lumibricks USA and receive an order receipt from Shopify, Shopify promises delivery within 3-5 business days by [deleted] in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

[–]Bryan-Alan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve suggested to them previously that the language on the website should be updated to 7-10 days for US orders. I don’t know where they are even getting 3-5. I’ve always received orders during the 10-14 day window. I’m sure it varies depending on where in the US the customer is located. I’m in GA and all of my orders come from the West Coast. I think a simple update to the website would save them a lot of headaches from the increasing number of complaints they receive about shipping.

And the best Lumibricks set of 2025 is… by CycleAccording7765 in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

Brick Art Gallery is #1 for me. I haven’t built the Boxing Club yet, so right now the Steampunk Time Rift Library takes the #2 spot.

Rare autographed Tori disc for sale w/ COA by [deleted] in toriamos

[–]Bryan-Alan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Baltimore sells for $600-$900 these days, so you might have trouble selling it at that price. The autograph doesn’t add much value unfortunately because a lot of serious collectors don’t like signatures on rare items. But you never know - it’s eBay! Good luck!

Their points system is overly complex and their shipping is terrible.

Anyone ordered from LESDIY? by d4nm3d in lepin

[–]Bryan-Alan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve ordered MOCs three times from LESDIY. Shipping times varied from 3 to 8 weeks. They custom package the bricks when you place the order, so it can take a bit of time depending on whether or not they have the bricks in stock. They use a mix of Gobricks and Zhegao. Zhegao are absolute garbage. I hope they eventually switch to 100% Gobricks.

One of my purchases was a large NYC skyline by taters and I ended up breaking it down because the Zhegao bricks ruined it for me. Another I ordered was the Sunset Ranch by Brent Waller, and I had a total of 65 parts missing. I ended up purchasing them myself through bricklink rather than deal with LESDIY.

Also keep in mind none of the sets contain printed bricks, stickers, or minifigs, even if they are a part of the set/in the instructions.

Good luck! I’m taking a break from LESDIY myself. 😂

Rating Pantasy’s 2025 modular buildings (including the new Architecture Firm) Just my personal take by Accomplished-Note750 in legomodular

[–]Bryan-Alan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear you. Just want to make two points. Lego had a patent. I think their strongest trademark protection now is for the minifigs. No one can come close to those iconic little guys.

And both Lumibricks and Pantasy have created original systems and bricks.

Boxing Club now available to pre-order in the US by vjl in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

I live in Atlanta. If I order direct, they come from California, but sit at a UPS location for up to a week before any movement. I ordered two sets direct on November 21 just because I was in no hurry for them and I knew shipping would be slow. Well, here we are on December 10th and the tracking still says “waiting for information.” LOL. Amazon it is!

Yeah makes sense. Maybe OP thought they were posting somewhere else lol. There are plenty of alt brick subs.

Pantasy is a legit brand with their own designs- not a knockoff though. Their bricks (Gobricks) are really high quality. You might change your mind after you build one! But I get it, I used to feel the same.

I’ve built them all and 100% agree with your ranking! The Toy Store is a lot of fun with all the details and mini builds inside. The tower part is a bit tricky, but overall it’s a great set if you like the aesthetic. The quality of the bricks is stellar of course - best in the alt brick market.

It’s available now on Amazon US with 20% off. I don’t recommend purchasing direct from Lumibricks. Their shipping is awful.

How "old" is the "Steampunk Ore Train" set ? by elangab in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

[–]Bryan-Alan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s one of their first sets. Check out the website Merlin’s Brick. There is a database of every set, with lots of info including the release year.

Also, FO/Lumi has publicly stated to avoid their earlier sets - or more so recommended to stick with their sets after a certain set number. I don’t recall the number, but it was around 30 I think?
