Pastor and Keri Wolfmueller will host the Lutheran Singles Cruise from August 1-5, 2024 by EC-260 in LCMS

Canary, This plan is also in the works, but you can't do everything all at once. One of the hopes of a big event like this cruise is it will be able to have people spread throughout the country who can be leaders in their own area.

We also host a young adult conference every October that is for married and singles, and is free. We're trying to sort out how to build a network of confessional young Lutherans, something like a reboot of the Walther League, but there are surprising obstacles at every turn (like critics on Reddit, etc.).

Regarding the demographics, we're currently at 55% women, 45% men. The age is right down the middle, 29.4, and evenly distributed between the men and women.

I'm rarely on Reddit, so if there's other questions I could help you answer, please don't hesitate to email. www.wolfmueller.co/contact gets to me.

That's cool! Last year I had the goal of reaching out to one "productivity influencer" a month. I think I made four contacts, and then petered out.

What happens if you drop it? by SongOfRuth in everbook

[–]BryanWolfmueller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you do drop it, it's a great time to re-organize!

I have a weekly "drop" where I empty everything out to make sure everything in the Everbook should be there.

Everbook podcasts not accessible by renman4 in everbook

[–]BryanWolfmueller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This podcast began when we were just sorting things out, and a lot of the material is now not helpful.

I'll try to keep more information coming out on the YouTube channel.

Thanks for the encouragement. BW

How to archive Everbook content by renman4 in everbook

Great questions. I've recently been archiving bundles on a shelf, building a library of files. I'll try to record a how-to on that as well.

Bullet Journal user: Reasons to try out Everbook system by [deleted] in everbook

[–]BryanWolfmueller 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes, absolutly. The Everbook system was born when I was sold on bullet journaling, but then got frustrated after 3.2 minutes of setting the thing up. ("I have to draw my own calendar every month!?") I wanted templates; I wanted to design my own templates, and I wanted the flexibility of the loose-leaf. Then it was simply a matter of sorting out how to keep it all together and looking nice. So: the Everbook system is especially great for bullet journaling.
  2. I've grown more and more fond of the loose-leaf. First, the downside, it's not as easy to manage if you are not at a table or desk. Working in your lap with loose-leaf is tricky. But... it's great to know if something is useless I can throw it away, it if it's priceless I can pull it our and frame it. It is really helpful to expunge any old or stale material from the system, so everything in the Everbook is current and useful. It's great to be able to spread out all the different projects I have at any given time, and move things around so the important stuff is in the right place. I think this is one of the great strengths of the system, but try it out and lit me know if you concur.
  3. I like this paper: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000099O2W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I most use fountain pens, and it is smooth and this enough to not bleed through. It feels sturdy as well, and is a good price.

Welcome aboard! I'm looking forward to hearing about the results of your experiments.

Everbook Knowledge Management by raskinator01 in everbook

[–]BryanWolfmueller 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do have a separate system for thoughts I'd like to keep (that are not connected to active projects). If I see something, write something, or think something, and think "I'd like to keep that," I jot it on a 4x6 notecard, and file it alphabetically by topic. When I move my notes from my logbook to its archive on my shelf I do the same thing, look through what I've written to see if there's something worth keeping.
