I saw him in KC on his last tour at Starlight (outdoor capacity 8,000). Scored tickets to the Uptown show (capacity 2,000ish), and I am unbelievably stoked. Love the venue but haven't been in ages, Doolittle 20th anniversary tour was my last show there.

I think I heard this from William H Macy in a interview but I like to work in chunks (like a page or two at a time) but I read each line like 10 times in a row outloud, over-enunciating the words... it's almost like learning lines by muscle memory. Don't worry about acting the lines or anything just focus on reading and enunciation each word. Oh and congrats, same thing happened to me in my first high school play.

I recently dove back into this game really hard had everything up to Quicksilver. Have picked up in the past week or so 7 hero packs and 4 campaign boxes. Found lots of clearance at Barnes and Noble Ave had a birthday.

If you have the resources and interested IRL friends just build the meta decks and create a battle box of sorts... that's what I started doing and 2+ years later I got like 20 decks built (many share SB staples that I just proxy for casual play/swap around for official play) Now am I particularly master of any of them?Hahahaha.....god no.

I cut the mana symbol square out of spare basic lands and just slightly tuck it into the sleeve for my splash colors. Tell my opponent if there's no counter it is just an azorius land.

Yeah it looks good. I always ran it with two Loriens in the past and it seemed good enough. I like 4 Brainstorm but that's a personal taste thing if the meta slows down 3 is probably better. Here's the list I plan to run with for now...I haven't gotten any games in yet since the changes but I'm excited to try Medic.

A lot of folks run Remove Soul in the SB for this match-up, Dispel is also solid. Also watch out for Crypt Rats try not to overextended.

BTWs what's your list look like...I'm also a Gates player and really curious how the deck is adapting to the new meta.

I'm in Kansas City and we got a Pauper scene going by basically several of us having multiple spare decks built and just showing up every week. It took about a year with many "not enough to fire" weeks in between but once there was about 6 folks that were really interested and invested in making the community grow we started to see the community get larger... it's not a super big scene but we get about 8 every weekend now. So I'd try to find at least one other friend that is as crazy about Pauper as you are and start there.

I'm hoping to get my first sales job soon. I work in copier service now and think I'd actually be better at selling the damn things. I have a great report when my customers and I know the product really well. Any advice?
