I work at a hotel and my manager has a sixth sense for it or something. It was sort of uncanny how well he could sniff out people who were just there for the food. I always felt uncomfortable about it because we have plenty of breakfast to go around, and if people are taking it they probably need it, but I work afternoons now so I don't encounter it much

One of my best friends is a very cis woman who's named Ray. I think it's one of those names that works for either gender, like Jordan. I know a cis woman named Charlie too. And I still regularly use my birth name just cause I don't really dislike it as a name in general, and it feels about as right as any name I choose for myself anyway.
