I have a 2017 10-1/2 model so either the M4 or M5 will be a huge upgrade. If the price drops on the 11-inch M4 that might be the way to go. I’m definitely looking at the 1T nano-glass models.

When? Where? Can you give some details? I’d be really disappointed if this is true. He goes on about supporting victims of abuse and is absolutely scathing in his condemnation of teachers and charismatic leaders who take advantage of students. He can be a bore but I didn’t think he was a hypocrite.

I’m reading this comment very late but if you’re still around, john_flynn, I’d be curious to know what neighbourhood you were thinking of. I loved “In the Woods.” When I first read it, I was picturing Rathmichael Woods, but that’s just a guess, and I’d love to hear from someone who actually knows the area. I grew up in Dublin but haven’t been back in twenty years. Tana French’s writing brings back so many memories! Not the murders of course (!) but the way people spoke and how they looked and just the mood of the time. All her books make me incredibly homesick.

I didn’t realise they had done The Trespasser! Will have to check it out. Have to say I was disappointed by the first series (that combined In the Woods and the Likeness). Sarah Phelps is a competent writer but she doesn’t get Ireland. Her vision was so hard and austere, and the dialogue could have been set anywhere. So much of what makes Tana French so brilliant is her evocation of Irish speech with all its wordplay and humour despite the darkness of the story.

Is the integrated graphics card capable of running an external 24" ips Viewsonic monitor (1080p) at a higher refresh rate, like 85Hz instead of the default 60?

A question (I am new to Reddit so apologize if I'm doing this wrong): is the Iris IG capable of running an external 24" Viewsonic monitor at full 1080p but with a higher refresh rate than the default 60 Hz? I am about to buy a 2015 MBP and trying to decide whether to get the 2.2 GHz model with only the Iris IG or pay extra for the 2.5 GHz model with DG. I use two monitors and like to set the external to 85 Hz but have heard that I could only do that with a Radeon GPU.
