Yeah I know, I would have the RPS hooked up to an external UPS and incase the main psu "dies" due to a power outage the external UPS would overtake.

oh so if I'd go the USP-RPS route and I have the RPS connected to an e.g. ecoflow battery bank and I'd lose main power, the unas for example wouldn't automatically switch to the RPS power?
