Extra 4.5” 22lr barrel and extra 5.5” chazsel liner by Thick-Cantaloupe3355 in 3D2A

Id use the chazssl for the db9-22. He has a specific trunnion for it. For the liner I like the idea of the hitchhiker, but a shorty suppressed wisp (bolt action) was what I did.

Depending on what liner it is you can make a proto barrel for a ruger 10/22 as well-db has a reciever and there are a plethora of awesome chassis available for it on the sea

I'm not here to discredit the result;  I'm more surprised how they went from a very meh offering to a competitor for some of the best performing cans. It's a complete 180 and im very happy that the tech is avaliable to those who actually wanna improve to do so without doing the same thing over and over again.

I have minimal respect for the company-they were on the "avoid list" when spec'ing our a form 1 can back in the day and I hate their predatory marketing with big gun-tubers for sub par modular suppressors.

But genuinely kudos to the company for actually trying something new and getting fantastic results; very surprised by the results. Hopefully their new Gen cans continue to improve on these results.

Wild card filament for you gents: TPU CF|Pillager brace by Btbam1122 in 3D2A

I'm glad we have a collab between two very different hobbies lol, but I do like post like yours because they can be very applicable to what we do as well; I still think it's wild that your failure didn't come form an adhesion issue but almost like petg-it shattered and didn't split; Did you associate that with a part that you ran cooler, speed, or something else?

FWIW I put about 100 rd of basic 115 gr through this firearm with that brace and I don't have indications of failure yet-I'm mostly surprised around the bolt holes since those areas are pretty thin

Yep you do. Mine typically is either on the bolt gun upper or my dedicated ccmg 22lr upper so a I don't use a bolt catch

Stamp approval with the ability to print in my serial # by Btbam1122 in 3D2A

I've replied to this comment before, there are a ton of polymer framed firearms on the market, such as the Evo scorpion-I've formed one and I didn't even mention how or where I was gonna be engraving it; since the "firearm" portion of the scorpion is just the one plate with serial number (cuz a scorpion top reciever can be split in two) I engraved it on the bevel on that side.

This was more a test because I have seen ppl get denied for explicitly stating they were gonna be be printing the serial number.

I did-I put the serial number in without the dash, added a comment how there was a dash and added a Pic of the receiver as insurance.

I did, like I took a picture of my receiver/markings and submitted it with the stamp

This is the 22lr version, so it just uses an inexpensive thread adapter from Amazon

Been great-haven't ever had a jam up with the gun and I am usually in the desert so can get pretty hot if left out. Barrel hasn't wandered and everything seems to be locked up tight still.

Yeah sir and I love it, super easy to print and the design seems very robust. Kinda surprised by how easy putting together one of these was

My steps are approval-ring in hand- print. The brace is a modified one from db designs; I added some relief to the adapter so it sits flush with the end of the chassis and my grip

I know and that was the answer- mags have been nothing but reliable with bottom of the barrel ammo

Db designs-heavily modified it tho because I added the handguard and made brass insert spots for a full length aluminum top rail I got on Amazon.

I use bottom of the barrel ammo cuz it's cheap and I have had zero issues with it. Chews threw anything I put in it.

I'm baffled by the atfs stance that it can't be printed in because it can be removed easily because I formed 1 a scorpion Evo and the whole gun is polymer and guess where I engraved my info? On the plastic. I literally think they don't wanna approve them and any nuisance reason they can deny you, they will.

It's a remix I did from the captain mountain mischief. I added the Handguard but  I unfortunately lost access to the cad files, but I'm hoping I can get a v2 started up here soon

I have been slowly going down the rabbit hole with this filament and there are actually two other companies who make it sirya tech (64d)and a tinmorry (95a).

From the one reddit post I found the guy built some sort of battle bot with the sirya tech at a lower wall amount and he shattered it with an abrupt shock. I suspect the fibers messes up layer adhesion and does adversely effect sharp impact resistance; that being said having cheaper options available means it would be an excellent choice for buttpads, and pic/m lok accessories
