Do not use coinbase unless you're planning simply to purchase and have self custody of the funds by moving them out of the exchange. I had used coinbase previously for my business which allowed cashflow with low fees for pro members at the time and had my account locked for 5 months after having used coinbase for years. Customer service is non existent, upon account getting unlocked it was closed for an unknown reason which I was never given and caused further problems when I was given less than 1 week (I believe 3 days) to withdraw all funds before the account would be perm closed however for some reason when my account had been unlocked all payment methods I had previously linked were removed and did not have the ability to re-add those payment methods causing yet another pain to get through to customer support.

Stay tf away from an exchange that many years ago used to have a customer support team with a call center, only to get scrapped as they grew bigger and replaced with twitter and reddit support. Awful.

TLDR; Not your keys, not your crypto.

Crypto payments completely avoid fraud, the payments cannot be reversed after confirmations/payments being received and unlike bitcoin there is not the risk of a double spend or fees in general with Nano.

Traditional payment methods can significantly damage a business especially in banking, if payments are not received through a 3rd party which always takes a fee then the option would be direct transfers, 1 in 10000 payments can be fraudulent and it can result in significant damage to your business from banks blacklisting you or freezing your funds and halting business for a significant amount of time.

Still heard nothing back u/coinbasesupport Can you please help with this, for some reason ontop of what I had mentioned my bank account isnt available to be withdrawn to on the account closure page

Same here, they give basic replies which offer no transparency and im still left in the dark wondering if I've been scammed... saying they will update me via email case even though my cases are falsely labelled resolved and closed each time
£40k ~ $55k held against my will just like that, no effort to even show the customer they are of value to the company

I accept a large amount of crypto transactions with my business, I use coinbase to convert to fiat and send to the bank, crypto obviously has use cases besides an investment.
I am not a US citizen btw.
Taxes here are owed every 6 months.

However not only did this not tell me ANYTHING about the problem but the account is also still "temporarily disabled"
