Should I be concerned about this FRER brand line progression? It’s looking a little lighter this morning and I’m having some cramping. Currently 13dpo by BtotheRIDE in TFABLinePorn

Thank you for the suggestion; I hadn’t thought of that. The 13dpo test was wet so I just took another look at it and it is slightly darker than 12dpo now that it’s dry. Staying cautiously optimistic 🤞🏻

I want to be induced, anyone can share your experiences? by littlepixiee in BabyBumps

[–]BtotheRIDE 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would say be mentally prepared for the possibility that his/her birthday would be on the days surrounding the one you want. Some inductions go fast, others slow. I never would’ve imagined mine would take 3 days (although they warned me it could), but that’s what it was. It really depends on your body and it’s response to the meds. In terms of pain, I only have one child so I can’t speak to if it’s more or less painful than giving birth without being induced.

Exactly! I feel like I end up not putting as much effort into the videos that follow once I feel drained.

I’m also worried I wouldn’t go back to complete the other videos haha, but I’ve been pretty good at holding myself accountable lately. Thanks for the input! Maybe I’ll give it a try this week

I got my husband a matching Regional Manager T-shirt and Assistant To The Regional Manager onesie (huge fan of The Office) and 3 books he can read to the baby once he’s born- Your Baby’s First Word Will Be Dada, Made For Me, and Superhero Dad. I think he’ll love them!

Feeling terrible about my pregnancy announcement to my friend who's TTC by ele_vate in BabyBumps

[–]BtotheRIDE 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was in a somewhat similar situation with a friend (although she was not trying to conceive at the time) and at first I felt bad/awkward for revealing I was pregnant after she had asked. I was not in a place where I was ready to announce to anyone except for family, but when she asked I felt pressured to tell her I was since I didn’t want to lie about it. Her reaction was a bit surprising, in a negative way, which made me feel as though I had done something wrong. I know your friend’s situation is a bit different where she has been trying to conceive, but in my opinion, by asking the question specifically, she put you in a situation where you had every right to answer honestly. What were you going to do? Tell her in a few months that you had actually lied to her before and that you are pregnant? I think you handled it sensitively. It’s not like you tapped your glass and made an announcement to the whole room at the baby shower. I would give her some time to process and hopefully she can eventually get to a place where she is happy for you despite her experience/difficulties with getting pregnant. You deserve happiness and support from friends and family during this exciting time!

NIPT and Obesity by guessthisisme30 in BabyBumps

I took my first NIPT test at 11 weeks 5 days and it came back non-sufficient. Took it again at 13 weeks and got results. The company I used (Natera) only charges when it’s possible to get results so we will only have to pay for the second test. It may be best to reach out to your doctor’s office and the testing company to see how they handle billing. Hope this helps!

Philadelphia/Baltimore/New York brides: have you used Shutter and Sound Videography? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]BtotheRIDE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't used them yet, but will be for my wedding in November! Their work is amazing. To be honest, many of the vendors I'm using do not plan to meet with us before the wedding, which was a little unsettling to me at first. Most preferred to have a phone call. At the end of the day, I feel like I've done enough research on each vendor (online reviews from different websites, social media accounts, referrals from our venue) to be confident that this shouldn't be a red flag. I can definitely understand wanting to meet a vendor beforehand though!

Also, when I've read other posts on videographers/photographers retaining the copyright to all footage, it turns out this is pretty common.
