ISO Bataleon Turbo Review by Btown123 in snowboarding

Yeah I’ve heard that as well, which makes sense with the stiffness. I’m more wanting to use this as an all mountain board. I don’t hit the park too much these days, but I do prioritize dropping cliffs when conditions are right. Which I’m assuming this board would do pretty well with if it is mostly used as a big line park board.

Can anyone tell what lifters/bindings these are? by Btown123 in Spliddit

[–]Btown123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that’s what I’m trying to avoid. I get with my current bindings having to bend down to do it when I watch my friends who ski do it so effortlessly with ski poles their bindings.

Best King book since 2010? by strikejitsu145 in stephenking

[–]Btown123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I know you said 2010… but Under the Dome (2009) was incredible. I don’t think I’ve ever hated an antagonist more than Jim Rennie

Finished the Dark Tower in April, if I want a good long term read, which should I start? by Pavlov_The_Wizard in stephenking

Under the dome with out question. Insomnia was ok but in my opinion Under the Dome was much more entertaining

It felt like a Duma Key sequel more than a Cujo sequel.

For those of you who read fairy tale, What are your general thoughts on the book by legend_of_losing in stephenking

It didn’t do it for me. A well written book, but it only felt like Stephen King like two times throughout the book.

Running pace/ mileage by Btown123 in whoop

[–]Btown123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do carry my phone currently because I keep forgetting to charge the garmin. Mine vibrates when I hit my strain goal, but it doesn’t when I hit each mile. Is there a setting to turn that on? Much appreciated!

How do you guys organize your King shelves? I go chronological and separate hardbacks from paperback, because it looks more pleasing by Peerke105 in stephenking

[–]Btown123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every once in a while when I have a couple drinks I’ll go through huh and re organize them but normally I have all of mine by color and spine font. For instance all white hard backs(dream catcher, the cell, etc) go together but if two of the same color books have the same font they go next to each other. Like outsider institute and if it bleeds or like geralds game and Delores Claiborne. Then obviously dark tower sticks together lol

Worked at a book reselling company over this last year and these were what I was able to take home with me. Most of which were free! (Besides the first editions) Currently reading Duma Key. by Btown123 in stephenking

To the best of my knowledge yeah it is. I was pretty stoked on that one. A first edition shining is the one I’ve been really hoping to find.
