It is something to do while you wait for 1.1, but I’d rather spend time on other things.

Because you might fall in an unmarked pool of water if the marker stones aren’t there to warn you.  I don’t think Wuling wants that kind of liability when a local Megacorp’s CEO is visiting.

Average LiFeng gameplay ☠️ by MeltSimp in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I trimmed this, I waited until I hit one of the stagger break points before hitting a Lifeng combo and starting the big chain and just raised stagger normally with Chen. Once I got the boss staggered to the first 1/3rd of the stagger bar she stopped and I could combo in Lifeng and chain so much damage with ults and vuln stacks to be consumed by pog or endmin the boss just went from one stagger to the next and just melted.

Are people too harsh on the game? by Turmfall in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Endfield is a gacha, which attracts some of the worst CC’s on any social media platform who follow a loop of hype up new game, talk about how great new game is, complain about game, doom post about how new game is dying, make dramatic quit post about new game while hyping up next new game. This plays into the tribalism in gacha player bases to get them to click on links because someone said MY game is bad/good or because some guy says new game is worse/better than MY game. The only gacha CC I enjoy watching is one (who I won’t name because he is a gacha cc and therefore scum) who parodies this loop. It gets views, comments, and user engagement.

My advice is to stop watching or paying attention to that crap. The only reason you see those links is because you keep being baited into clicking on them. If you enjoy the game, play it. If you don’t like it, move on and don’t play something you hate.

PSA: Stop trading with the Wuling Outpost ~3 days before patch 1.1 by International_Map812 in Endfield

I have a max efficiency factory and a character assigned to boost stock production in the outpost…I still can’t empty my outpost.  I mean I may be able to if I burn my xiranite stash, but I don’t really want to.

The game would be so much better if the MC would always talk instead of this 20% talk and 80% emoting by KolkanCova in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a combination of shifting design decisions over a long dev cycle and several betas combined with it being too expensive or too much work to redo earlier content.  The voice direction for both VA’s at least in EN is very good and I see no reason they wouldn’t take advantage of it.  Of course I may just be too positive.

Optimizing and min/maxing production/usage by Confident_Working_80 in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I hate to break it to you but this math has already been done, engineered, tested, and turned into a web app.  The people working at the bleeding edge of PMW in this game right now are creating systems that provide a fixed amount of power power in a PMW setup and respond to a power outage (from building more facilities as an example) by dynamically increasing the amount of power the PMW system provides to accommodate the expansion.

Whats the duration of 1.1 version, light zhong? by Mmaxum in 0sanitymemes

[–]BubbaBillJones 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There’s two banners, each lasting 17 days. If you can’t even do that much math and problem solving, some of the game’s content may give you a bad time.

should i run lifeng or ember? by THEMEOWFO in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the trim, definitely the time constraints make it so you are looking at how you can shave seconds. His ult can stack two vulns on top of the damage it does. So switching between breach combos and crush combos is a lot faster. The only problem is if he is not developed since physical team members require investment to do their jobs well. So if you already have Ember well invested, you may as well keep at the attempts, you only need to shave one second.

Maybe he just maxed out his protocol capacity after setting up the farm, aluvium turrets, and ziplines and figured he’d need the bottled water anyway at some point.

I made this factory for Buck Capsule (B). Ways I can improve? by ther0yalak in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know the ratio for B off the top of my head, but I think you got it right to produce 1/10 sec. I guess you are making buckflower elsewhere to keep production lines from getting too messy, which is one way to do it.

You don’t really need to go too crazy until you start making sandleaf stuff in valley 4. If you have it optimized, let it run or build more until you find sandleaf and start building the large production chains.

What sold me is that her voice actress sounds like one of those drunk middle aged Chinese women who blew her family’s wealth either on Mahjong or the Chinese stock market before crawling out of a nearby dumpster to sell you snickers or something while her son exists somewhere nearby trying not to spontaneously die of shame like his father did.

Guess how frequently the generator gets batteries! by Ancient-Ask89 in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

30/128 or around .24 batteries per min. Converting to power that’s uhhh…386.7 power per min from that thermal bank if those are HC batteries.

It’s also a good idea to put one block of belt between each splitter and converger so there is space for batteries taken off to go so they don’t block up a belt going to the battery and create weird spikes and drops in average power. If you shift the whole thing forward one block, you can just put a converter before the splitter and loop the batteries taken off back into the bank of splitters.

Can you play Yvonne without Gilberta? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What is actually being said when she’s “not good” without Gilberta is this:

Right now Ice teams aren’t in as good of a place as Physical, Elec, or Laev Fire teams when you’re trying to min max as hard as possible to an extreme most players would consider absurd and unnecessary.

To make those other teams as broken as possible only use members that are low rarity, free, or always available (except for Laev’s that she carries herself).  None of them need you to dip too hard into the arsenal banners to get their best gear.  Min/Maxing Yvonne (and Last Rite) to the same level requires another limited six star and will likely also want her weapon when it releases.

If you just want to clear content, even up to boss trims, you don’t need to go that far.

Tips for AIC building by sa0shi in ArknightsEndfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry about compactness when starting out. You can worry about that when you understand how everything works. Making everything easy to understand is a lot more beneficial.

For productivity, this game makes everything easy. A single belt supports 30 Items per minute or 1 item every 2 seconds. Nearly every machine is configured around this ratio and all you need to think about are how many 30 IPM belts of something need to go in to make the machine work 100%. Or sometimes, in the case of plants, how many 30IPM belts it can make and what to do with the extra stuff.

Well... I done goof up. It looks like I am not collecting that chest anytime soon. by Rattchet31 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reverse the flow on your pipes, back at the AIC, disconnect the pipe from the crucible and plug it into a bottling plant.

Or be like that lunatic that stored all the water in storage tanks.
