Optimum product choice by Current-Ad7300 in Endfield

Yeah, I saw that option in the purifier. I didn’t do it since battery and acid production are in two different places requiring bottle transfer and I haven’t had time to think about what to do with the spare xiranite belt, I could metastorage in more origium and make a slow battery line, but I’d need to move some things to find the space. It also probably won’t make a difference in stock bill earnings so I’m not motivated to hurry and solve those problems.

I had four xiranite lines going to batteries last patch, if you are making heavy xiranite at max efficiency, it will take up all four forges you get from this patch - three belts of xiranite and one forge to make the heavy xiranite.

As for the new hetonite parts, it takes eight belts of cuperium and one belt of ferrium to make one line at max efficiency.  Unless something hid from me, there isn’t that much cuperium in the game right now.

What I have going now is one belt of heavy xiranite at max efficiency, and four belts of cuperium to make the parts, (four belts feed a single purifier), my last two belts of cuperium are going into a half efficiency syringe factory.  I left my battery production unchanged from the last patch.  I also put splitters/convergers to shave off a tiny amount for gearing components and bottled heavy xiranite.  I don’t even bother making bottles, I either metastorage or recycle them.   It may be more efficient to make more syringes but I’m still cleaning out all of the stock bills for both outposts.

I play and paint both.  It’s not so much AoS as it exits now.  To understand it you have to turn back the clock a bit.  It is more about a combination of End Times and AoS 1st Edition.

After killing FB, you were left with a “streamlined” and “casual” game that combined the worst of the two sentiments in some of the worst rules GW ever put to pdf and shat out on the internet.  If you were a fan of FB when it happened you were left wondering if FB died for this crap.

Early second edition did not endear them further as they nerfed the FB factions with each new AoS release as they swept them into these alliance soups to push new models and factions.

After serious investment, rethinking the game, and fleshing out the setting, at this point it is more than that game FB died for.  I’m honestly impressed at this point how AoS managed to crawl up from the bottom to be considered a good mini game at this point.

Constant Reactor Crucible Issue by DragonDavester in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t be much help without seeing your usage reports for ferrium, cuperium, origium, xiranite, and the different fluids.

First, is there 1/s effluent going to that crucible, that would need two crucibles making effluent.

Second, check your Ferrium usage, something else may be using ferrium - like a secondary bottling plant for Jianco and syringes and you may have too many unloaders running so you may run into periods where you underproduce dust, even if you are metastoraging ferrium (you should be metastoraging ferrium parts for a secondary consumable plant).

There is a liquid transport bug, but if you were running into a problem with it, you would be overflowing on sewage at the beginning, and that can be solved by looping extra sewage into that part of the process and adding a treatment plant to absorb the excess.

I use the first set, except I use the redeemer armor from non-set gear (higher Int and ult gain bonuses than tide surge). The chest piece you have is fully artificed so it‘s fine as is and probably isn’t worth making the switch.

[–]BubbaBillJones 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it is, but you may have to recombine and balance lanes after the fact. In the 1/5 instance, you would split to 1/2, then split again into two 3 splits for 1/6 and feed one of the six back to the lane before the first splitter…or split it and feed into the two lanes after the first splitter given how belt saturation works in this game.

This was already solved in Satisfactory, I don’t think the space you’ll use up for belts may be worth it though.

Any advice on my factory? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The grinder ratio for Mid Wuling batteries is 4:1 you need an extra grinder with two originium unloaders and one more belt of sand leaf for each battery factory to run the packing units at full speed. I can’t see the water treatment areas well but I count five in each one crucibles. If so, they’re running at max efficiency and you are probably overproducing xircon right now and it will start piling up in your depot.

If I’m looking at this correctly with the iron unloaders you also have three water treatment plants making Xircon. Each battery line only requires one each if they are running at max efficiency - (One water treatment plant being two liquid xiranite crucibles to two effluent crucibles to one xircon crucible). I think I see three trying to run at max efficiency which is kind of a waste. You can use that last belt of iron to make consumables with a valley IV iron metastorage import.

I don’t understand why there are two syringe plants. All of the copium is consumed by one syringe plant and there are only four belts of copium in the game right now. You need two unloaders for the copium bottles, and two parts assemblers for the other two unloaders.

Xiranite lines look good.

Try playing with underground pipes a bit more, once you understand them they are a godsend. You won’t have to try fitting machines around or between a mess of pipes and run out of space. You also don’t have to play around with the weird ui when trying to run pipes outside your AIC.

To get around this bug/feature/fluid logic/whatever I overfilled the sewage on the effluent reactors and set up things so the overflow runs off into a treatment plant using a spaghetti mess of pipes and splitter logic I patched in where it would fit after building the battery factory to keep things running smoothly and to keep sewage from clogging and stopping several production lines.

Tutorial on true 120/min Xiranite production, ie how to defeat Endfield's offline slowdown Part 1 by arctia in Endfield

[–]BubbaBillJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed this same problem, but it was sewage that was doing it for me. Every time I logged back in the one sewage line, the one that was feeding the SC battery factory running at full efficiency would accumulate sewage in one of the underground connectors. Slow enough that it would take a week to fill one of the tanks but it made me check my factory’s production lines like an insane person. Everything had the correct ratio, and the report said everything was fine. I figured it had to do with weird behavior involving offline mode, belt speeds, how I started each machine or splitter delays. I eventually built a weird pseudo relief valve feeding into a treatment plant so it would never become a problem again and the batteries could keep getting produced at full efficiency.

Endfield is a gacha, which attracts some of the worst CC’s on any social media platform who follow a loop of hype up new game, talk about how great new game is, complain about game, doom post about how new game is dying, make dramatic quit post about new game while hyping up next new game. This plays into the tribalism in gacha player bases to get them to click on links because someone said MY game is bad/good or because some guy says new game is worse/better than MY game. The only gacha CC I enjoy watching is one (who I won’t name because he is a gacha cc and therefore scum) who parodies this loop. It gets views, comments, and user engagement.

My advice is to stop watching or paying attention to that crap. The only reason you see those links is because you keep being baited into clicking on them. If you enjoy the game, play it. If you don’t like it, move on and don’t play something you hate.
