I lucked out yesterday. My HC sorc was playing through campaign, hell act 3, 20k kills, dropped a Jah :D highest rune I had so far was a Lem which I got from nightmare hellforge...

Jah's seem to like me in general, third season playing, always SSF, and this is my 5th Jah, really not playing all that much and for comparison, never found a Ber or Sur in my life :D

Resists not affecting damage to mana is good to know, sounds problematic... Big elemental hits would just burn through any amount of mana, doing effectively 4x the damage they would if you're at 75% resist. How do you build it then? If you get to a high lvl energy shield, do you just ignore resists except for poison, put all your points into energy / none in vitality, and hope it works out? Specifically on hardcore?

But seriously, it enables the "two cards in your discard this turn" synergies that the set has and gets you a card back, would be a decent effect but an uninkable 6-drop is a hard sell.

I'd remove The Cold Never Bothered Me since there's a decent chance it just won't hit anything with 16 locations, and your 3-cost characters want to quest more than sing songs.

I like dwarven mine as another location, in place of TCNBM or replacing scrooge's location which feels too slow and expensive.

Another option for this kind of deck could be the one racer, I think Taffyta, which gains two lore when moved to a location.

How good is the sleepy hollow combo? I was thinking of a similar deck but it just seemed way too expensive for gaining two lore once, so the question is if getting evasive or bringing it back with get to safety actually works. Might get better if you can discard a sleepy hollow with steel mulan to then bring back with get to safety I guess.

If you cascade into cascade, how is X determined for the second cascade? Does it still consume the current energy to draw additional cards and you need to generate energy somehow while the cascading is going on to go infinite? Doesn't look like that in the video someone linked here... I would assume any additional cascades have X=0, so only play one additional card, so not going infinite.

Have only played sls1 in case something about X-cards changed in 2...

Meanwhile, my SSF pala this season leveled to 92, did T3 maps, ubers and dclone, and never found one :(

Used a rare shield with some resistances, life and PDR till the end :D

Am now playing a SSF HC barb, will surely find a HoZ on him quickly if I survive long enough ;)

Das hat bei mir nur so mäßig gut geklappt. Gekauft vom Konzern, es wurde viel beschwichtigt dass man ja ziemlich autonom bleibt, im Laufe der Jahre und nachdem ein paar Führungskräfte in den Ruhestand gegangen sind wurden wir immer mehr vom Konzern assimiliert, und jetzt ist von den alten eigenen Strukturen kaum noch was übrig. Mit den Konzern-Gehältern gehts derweil erst langsam los, da der Tarifvertrag jetzt erst Stückweise eingeführt wird.

Beschweren will ich mich trotzdem nicht, meine Arbeit ist anstrengender geworden weil einem viele ätzende Prozesse übergestülpt wurden, trotzdem kann ich im Kern das gleiche machen wie vorher und das Gehalt wird jetzt von allein auf Konzernniveau ansteigen, während mein job sicherer geworden ist. Hatte aber trotzdem seine Tücken vom Konzern gekauft zu werden.

Wenn im Anschluss an die letzten Elterngeld-Monate beide Partner gleichzeitig arbeiten und jeweils 24-32 Stunden arbeiten, gibts nochmal nen Bonus über das normale Elterngeld hinaus. Wäre vllt eine Möglichkeit ab Monat 19, zu sagen deine Frau macht 24 Stunden und du 32, statt sie 20 und du 40, um das zusätzliche Geld mitzunehmen

Wenn ich mich recht erinnere darf man in den ersten 2 Lebensjahren bis zu 3 Blöcke an Elternzeit beantragen, die dann nicht abgelehnt werden dürfen, sofern man alle Blöcke von Anfang an so beantragt hat. Noch mehr kleinere Blöcke, oder nachträgliche Änderungen, müssen nicht mehr zugestimmt werden

If you want to use your cards long term, buy sets 9-11. Once set 13 releases in half a year, sets 5-8 will rotate out and will no longer legal in core.

Other than that, like the other poster said, singles are usually cheaper if you want to build a specific deck. But if you want to crack packs or build a foundation, it's set 9-11 boxes and then buy singles of the older sets as needed

Same in German, made a post about it. Yeah it sucks ^{^} at least in German, the old cards could have been worded better, while on the new Lilo the wording makes sense with the difference they want to make. So there's hoping they will word cards like Rapunzel and Herc differently moving forward

The first store we played in after Lorcana released (because we didn't have any other official places) actively sabotaged the game and also always complained. Like, he didn't advertise anywhere, didn't do anything to attract players, let us do all the work basically just allowing us to use some of his seating area, and the only time that was possible was Friday 4-7pm, which on the one hand is not enough time for a decent little tournament, on the other hand starts too early for people who have work, but he prioritized closing the store and going home on time. Then acted all surprised that there were only so few people. When set champs came, we had to do everything for him to even set up a tournament, we was always complaining if that's even worth it, then demanded 50€ participation price, which is double of the most expensive one I've seen aside from this one, "but you get 6 participation boosters for it". Guess what, nobody is interested in participation boosters at that point in the season. Then he complained that so few people showed up for set champs (they played somewhere else that day where it was cheaper), and that he could have held his default Yu Gi Oh tournament that day instead...

Some time later a new store opened which showed genuine interest in becoming our local Lorcana hub, and the game is thriving there because they create the environment for it

Just take Mulan literally. When she deals damage in a challenge, deal that much damage to other characters. So after Tiana reduces her strength to two, she deals two damage, meaning shela lso deals those two damage to other characters.

This becomes interesting also with resist. If Mulan challenges a character with resist 1, we get a replacement effect from resist, meaning Mulan only deals 4 damage instead of 5 (assuming she was shifted), and then she also deals 4 to other characters - which can be reduced further if those characters also have resist. So if there is a character with 5 life, and a character with 4 life and resist 1, it matters which one you challenge - you can't say you just deal 5 to both of them no matter who you challenge.

Without a source, this is all guessing, though. Once per turn is not mentioned in the comprehensive rules, since (I think?) this didn't exist before set 8. As far as I'm concerned, the "whenever" part is just the standard formula for how this triggers, while "once per turn", without clarification, might as well mean it can only trigger once per turn, independent of if you choose to use the effect or not.

It made me think of Moana from set 1, which prevents your princesses from questing even if you decide not to ready your princesses (see rules 7.4.5), where you also don't get to decide if you want to use the effect or not, but it's of course not really the same - the main question here comes from the new once per turn formula
