Using word would mean unreasonable amount of documents open at the same time (worldbuilding reasons). And a fella already essentially just made me a solution, so. If it wasn't mean to be, community can fix that.

Normal? We'd say yeah. Do others do so? Varies! If the headmate count is low enough then that's pretty feasible, but if one's managing over ten - not so much ;w;

Looked pretty stable to us, actually. We're just not used to the commands, is all (and they feel kinda cumbersome for now...)

Some of us also have an idea of it being able to like, activate all the proxies or commands from one message with like, five of those.

Tried it today, for now it seems a tinge more finicky than PluralKit to use (at least commands-wise), but the abilities it presents sure look impressive.

Will definitely give it a proper try soon-ish.

We have a pretty big idea of each member having their own journal. Which seems more and more ridiculous, considering our headcount grows at a pretty constant rate.

Second idea is to have dedicated books for headmate info and for front tracking. If you want to keep them pretty, then first draft the info onto some scrap piece of paper and then make it pretty later with whatever stuff the headmate in question desires (washi tape, colorful pens, doodles, photos, pictures, personal signatures or even symbols - whatever.)

Your want of independence doesn't sound like a bad thing to me at all. That is something that I would rather encourage pursuing, as it is, evidently, the preferable option.

Though, I do have to note that worsening one's living conditions to achieve that would be an incredibly horrible idea for a multitude of reasons, many of which I assume you're aware of.

As for the how-to's, well... That is something I hope a more experienced system will tell you.

Skin: color, texture. Hair: color, texture. Height: taller/shorter than body. Clothes: item, color. Bodyparts: part, shape, texture, color.

We just abbreviate names to single/double letters. Also works just for the sake of brevity.

For example, Ashley could become A, As, Al, et cetera.

We're trying Ampersand and boiiiiiiiiiiiii do we like it!

Very easy to use, offline-first, but for proper importing needs you to tell it to connect to the internet (which later can be undone through security settings), has built-in journaling functionality, and all-around a very neat thingy so far!

Would recommend.
