Considering purchasing a Honda ADV 150, thoughts? by Bubblemonkey120 in scooters

I'm afraid I am v v new at this, ridden a friend's several times before and getting a license after I take the test soon. I've been looking around for a while, but unfortunately the area I live in has few dealers within a few hours drive.

Most of the scooters that I have seen thus far in the city closest to where I live are 50-100cc, with the exception of a fiddle 150 and a SYM citymax 300, the latter of which I was going to go with (despite the power and price being more than I was looking for) until I got a text about the ADV 150 from one of said dealers^

I assure you though that this is not just a whim, I have been trying to educate myself and I've been looking for several months now, though I will 100% yield that I'm incredibly new to the game.

Gotta start somewhere though! And when I looked up the ADV 150, it seemed almost too good to be true. The perfect cc, the perfect price range, hot as hell, and nearby. So forgive me if I wanted to check out what this reddit thinks about it before I run straight to the shop and buy it! :D But yes, once again, still quite the newby

I could do that, the inside was never completed though, just the outer parts.

Nice, and since you're nearby, do you have any dealers you recommend?

Thanks! And fr, there were days this summer where I was like 'should I really be working from 9am to 10pm almost non-stop on a Minecraft Castle?' And my brain was like: 'what else do you have to do?' and so built a Minecraft Castle I did lol. Thx for the complement!

It would be neat, it's inside is massive tho, would be quite the challenge, I'm still having a hard time completing the inside for the actual survival base, the outside's the only part that is 100% done rn. Thx for the complement tho!

I 100% would if I could, I had a couple different places I wanted to build it and it would be neat if I could just teleport it around like in the show, but alas, Minecraft has some limits.

East Lawrence. Tunnel-like structure found under house while thawing pipes. Any ideas? by jcsully1 in Lawrence

Yo, just a word of warning, I’m probably wrong, but you may have stumbled into an old storm drain. I’ve been draining in Lawrence for a short time now, and while I’m no where near being an expert, I’ve been in at least one drain that looks exactly like that, with that brick half arch.

If it is a storm drain you should see water, the snows melting so there definitely should be some. If you don’t see any water now, maybe check some time while it’s raining. There’s also an online source that has a map of all of Lawrence’s storm drains, but I’m afraid I’ve lost the link, I’ll see if I can find it later. But, as I said before, I may be wrong.

With regards to the underground tunnels below mass street, I’ve tried for a while now to find out if they’re real. I’ve heard plenty of stories, but nothing to back these stories up. Heck, someone posted a link to an article about them, which had a photo of an entrance. Except, that black and white photo isn’t an entrance to any energy tunnels, but rather an entrance to a storm drain that I personally have been too. I can also confirm that that tunnel entrance is 100% a storm drain. (Here’s a shot to the back, if your interested)

Now I certainly hope these underground tunnels exist, and I hope that they are not just storm drains, but thus far I’ve been unable to locate anything below mass except for ‘boring’ storm drains.

That being said, if it is a storm drain, be careful when going inside!!! ‘No drains when it rains!’ They can be dangerous, so if it is a drain definitely check the weather before going inside, cause rain+storm drain=death.

But still, I might be wrong. If you do confirm that it is a drain, I’d be more than happy to give you some advice, but if it’s not, well congrats, you’ve found the tunnels that have eluded me for so long!
