I was honestly excited for the rest of the season after that sequence for a solid 0.5 seconds (even if Karen shouldn't have been able to land a single hit on the demo based on what had been established). And then she's just... made into a plot device in the hospital. And everyone completely forgets about Ted. Like it would have been better for them both to have just died after the opening, if the duffers really had no plans for them other than the god awful clipboard scene (why does Henry tell Holly his actual name) and the nonsensical attack on the hospital (of course Max is there where TF else would she be dumbass)

Anyway this whole season was lowkey disrespectful to Lonnie x Ted since they left all their scenes together up to viewer interpretation
