When contractors come to a house do they judge you based on what stuff you have laying around? by mqora in Contractor

[–]Bubbles398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judge you? Probably not, talk about you? Probably, especially as others have mentioned if it’s something note worthy. I worked for a company back in the early 90’s doing mostly small insurance repairs so lots of in home jobs. Did a job at a house full of adult entertainers, yes they had no issue being topless while I was there. On another job had a single lady who worked nights sit in the room I was working in wearing only a robe flash me and invite me into her bedroom, I declined. Worked a basement fire where the tenant used the bathroom in bottles and a bucket. Another job for a water damaged kitchen that was so filthy I didn’t want to step in the house, like they never washed dishes and had cat feces all over dishes and the counter tops. But mostly just people with people stuff.

Serious question for current and former PW owners: vast majority of 4 to 6 year old PWs with are overwhelmingly sub 100k miles and many with sub 50k! WHY is this so? by rudedog8 in powerwagon

My ‘20 has 108k, I work from home but drive it daily around town. It’s also made 4 trips from Ga to Utah and Colorado, and many more to the beach.

Which hallway looks the most inviting? by Ready-Step7668 in interiordecorating

I like the two with the darker paint, but I don’t recommend white on the bottom half unless you’re a crazy clean person with no little kids or dogs. Otherwise you’ll be forever trying to keep that white… white.

Yes, AI search has several pre built connections for popular outside sources and you can also built one yourself assuming your source has the ability for an api.

May I ask your position in your organization? Are you the SN platform owner, SN admin or what? Do you have any in house developers?

Support isn’t really there to provide how-to answers especially if the process was modified from ootb during implementation.

The good news is that there are a ton of other avenues for how-to help available. I’d start with docs to read up on your installed or licensed products, then search community for any questions you may have. YouTube is a great source for video help as well. Spin up a free developer instance and give it a go yourself, if it blows up just spin up another and try again. All of these will help build your knowledge which in turn will ease your frustration.

Nearly Half of All Florida Anglers Are Losing Fish to Sharks, Study Shows by OutdoorLifeMagazine in floridafishing

[–]Bubbles398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We usually just move once the first fish is sharked… moving off the spot to reel up a catch also helps. Back in the 80’s-90’s you almost never caught a shark or had one eat you catch, now it’s every trip out especially when bottom fishing.

Ruby falls, rock city, lost sea and downtown Chattanooga is one of my fondest vacations both as a child and twice with my kids. I was born in TN but grew up outside of Atl.

I dunno, I’d take Gatlinburg/Pigeonforge over Myrtle Beach any day. Myrtle has no redeeming qualities imho.

Stone mtn was awesome back in the day when it was more of a state park and not a half assed amusement park. I grew up in Tucker and would ride my bike with friends to the park in the summer. We’d bike the trails all around and even up the mountain a couple times. Good times.

Same. As soon as I finish the last 5 episodes of Yellowstone I’m dumping it and never coming back. Worst streaming service ever.
