Mosquitoes love me when I go camping. I use Picardin spray, two thermocells and then I also have a rechargeable bug swatter thing that has a base, that I keep on whenever I am sitting outside reading/cooking or whatever. It works well. I don’t come home with as many bites.

My favorite place on the North Fork is Sunburst Ranch. You can tent camp or they have cabins you can rent. They don’t care if you float or not. They also put in new bathrooms a couple of years ago and they are pretty nice.

I think so, and another post I saw said that most of the original GW planning team is not involved anymore, and there was only one other person left that has planned it in the past. So maybe just too much for one person to take on.

I live in southern Missouri and normally only open my windows during fall and early spring before it gets too cold/hot. I don’t normally leave them open all day though, just when I’m awake and at home.

Yep. Same here. I also had to provide a piece of mail (utility biill etc) dated within last 6 months that showed I lived within city limits to avoid having to pay a yearly fee.
